Yeah, I don't think they get how strong many people feel about this. Strong enough to change parties, unfortunately there is no other good option.

The best thing you can do is band with your fellow citizens and try to take the party that most represents your views and change that party to better represent you.
I know the Republican Party is currently missing some real leadership and real conservative principles. This can be changed. There needs to be some incumbants booted out in the upcoming primary elections so better candidates can get elected.
It can be done.
I think the Democrat Party is almost a lost cause at this time which is unfortunate. They no longer represent any of the ideals of our Founding Fathers and are nothing more than a group of socialists / communists in disguise.

What makes you believe any party puts an "alien" above you or vice versa? The only people that truly matter to political party bosses are their cronies.

there are some legal aliens that want to get their citizenship but can't because there are illegals filling up the quota and stealing greencards, so don't be so hard on the good legal immigrants. But we should still deport the illegal ones.
