When I was deployed there were a lot of people that had pornos and those playboy type magazines....he'll either enjoy your pictures or a magazine. Although there might be some regulations on what can and cannot be sent, if your husband is requesting them then I don't see him putting himself on the line if he thought it would bring any type of trouble. I say go for it!

NO NO a thousand times NO.
One: NEVER send anything that you wouldn't mind being shared among every single member of camp. and two, if he gets caught, he could be made an example of and get into a LOT of trouble. Possesion of porn is not just illegal over there, it is a serious crime.. as in Felony. out of respect for the locals, such items are expressly frobidden.

Do not send the pics / Pornagraphy is not accepted in the Arabic culture and your boyfriend would be breaking General Order #1 / send a clothed pic of yourself instead

That would be breaking Iraqi law, and if he gets caught with them can get an article 15. And if his mail does get inspected would you want someone other than him to see or have those pictures of you.

I would Like to add anything that might be considered Pornographic by any Religious Fundamentalist would not pass Muster with the Iraqi laws and get him in trouble if caught with them.

When we went to my husbands pre deployment briefing we were told we were not allowed to send any nude pictures...however what I did and I suggest it to you is... if you cover up the goods enough to leave something to the imagination...then that is fine... thats what I did and my husband is quite pleased with the pictures ;)

Sure it's against Iraqi law and miltiary orders, but SEND them anyway. This is for him, not an officer that signs an order that says "thou shalt not have fun" nor for the religious nuts we're fighting.
Making sure your face is cropped out isn't a bad idea though.

You are not allowed to send them but when I was there my mail was never inspected. There were people getting sent alcohol and other contraband items and never got caught.

The National Geographic is very nice. The boy loves it. Little Girl has had a chance to read it as well. The Boy took it to school right away! He had to show all his friends.
