Yes, they do hate this country! They compare it to a non existent utopia that no country can live up too. And when the U.S. can't measure up, they take pleasure in tearing it down. They go out of their way to point out the flaws and mistakes it made, while over looking the horror's and atrocities of other countries (like Micheal Moore did in Farenhiet 911).
Not worried about 3,000 innocent Americans murdered (Ward Churchill said they deserved it), they are much more concerned about bashing U.S. foreign policy, criticizing Republican plans while offering none of their own,
hating Bush (they feel he stole the elections) and regurgitating dim-o-rats talking points.
Yes, I'm affraid it is as bad as you think, liberals truly hate America.

I think a better question is "why do American hate each other?" This one polictical question gets asked and half the people answering just start calling each other names. I am so tired of hearing "stupid redneck" or "tree hunging liberal" If everyday normal people like us can't get along, how the hell can we expect our leaders to get along? And PLEASE stop blaming everything on policticans and the media. You CAN turn off the TV or vote for someone else you know (last time I checked we still live in democratic country, at least for now). Yes people believe it or not, it is possible to have personal responsiblity AND be a liberal. It is possible to be a conservitive AND care about others.
People kill each other in other counties for the RIGHT to vote and speak their minds and all we do is sit around and wine and call each other names!
Why can't we all just step back for just one second and try to understand someone elses point of view! Doesn't mean we have to agree or change our minds. But at the very least, just maybe, we can find SOME kind of common ground and build from there. So I am an idealist, sue me (hey its America sure somebody will!)

I despise the use of the terms liberal and conservative. The meaning of what is liberal or conservative has changed over time. Any student of the history of politics knows this. The labels are rhetorically inflammatory and denigrating devices used by demagogues on both sides when they fail to make their ideas understandable or when the party who feels misunderstood, angrily lashes back. The key to living in peace is to seek out compromise based on similarities rather than differences. We are all human beings first and political beings second. Labels designed to polarize thought and action is divisive. We need to be united because the problems we face Islamic extremist terrorists and global climate changes and rising poverty and resource conflicts over water, the use of the oceans, petroleum reserves and food are coming to a head and violence and aggression characteristic of the Bush43 administration is no way to proceed to win-win solutions for all human beings. BTW I support *AAron s * for best A so far.

Not really America , just everything about George Bush. He is in the way of the socialist takeover of our country. With him out in 2008 if they can get one of their liberals in office they can make their move.

No, they don't really hate America. However they feel very strongly that it is unfair that America, and rich American's have somehow prospered at the expense of other peoples and nations.
Thus, they feel the need to equalize matters by advocating policies detrimental to America and Americans.
I think it comes from guilt that we are blessed with so much (due to our system of gov't and culture) and others aren't.

We all have our own agendas and push for what we feel is ideal and in our own best interests. I don't think it is a loath for America but rather concern; because some of us have agendas but aren't able to get our voices heard because the liberals control the media in my opinion.

They hate the American way. They hate the idea that America was founded by Christians and that laws reflect Christian morality . They hate anyone who says that their religion is right. They hate capitalism because one person can be a billionare and another a pauper. They hate self sufficiency because it might say "pay your own doctor". They hate the military because some day they may hea "son, your country requires your service & maybe your life".They tell you they love America, but it's the one they'd like to turn it into

No, they just hate the underhanded things our government does and they speak out against them, like the patriot act. Being an American and speaking out about injustice only appears unpatriotic to some people, the same ones who put money ahead of citizens of this country. We are only as good as the least fortunate in our country, and that doesn't say much in my book.
