US and Iraqi military deaths - up

Iraq civilian deaths - up

World wide terrorist acts - up

US deficit - up

Iraqi expatriates - 2 million have fled.

it means "oh! look over here!" Iran is doing something-
"helping the Taliban!" we better start a war with them-

although it isn't the govt of Iran doing it- it's drug cartel "businessmen" getting equip and transpo to the poppy growers -

but hey if it gets us to stop looking at the truth in Iraq for a dam minute - it's probably worth it- to the Bushies anyway-

sheesh!

Oh but an important shrine just got hit again in Iraq! Dam!

we'll be needing ~another~ good distraction right away!

In case nobody's paying attention, the Middle East is very close to igniting right now. Violence/civil war in Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine... Kurd and Turks about to get into it. Leaders are fearing spread of violence throughout the middle east.

we can make no progress at all in Iraq, the only progress that can be made must be made by the Iraqis, especially the Iraqi parliament, we are just policing (or trying to) until they can govern themselves

last I heard, the parliament is going on a two month vacation

maybe we need to just back off and let them fight it out

More bombings. More of the same excuses from Bush--as to why there isn't ANY real progress in Iraq.

Well - it was less bombings a short time ago - but the kooks just changed tactics. There are more bodies discovered each morning now than there were before, and troop deaths are up. Escalation is in a nutshell what happened.

Bush has still not been impeached from his view that is progress he can still bilk the American taxpayers out of more money. The longer he can draw this out the richer he and his fathers friends will be.

We've been making "progress" since late 2003. It means nothing.
