What does "I hate hippies classic" mean anyway?

Bill Clinton declared the "era of big government is over" and backed it up with results. The Republicans have "spent like drunken sailors" since they took power and have passed the Patriot Act which restricts our freedoms. The Iraq invasion speaks for itself. The Dems have given up on the war against the Second Amendment.

I know Libertarians have differences with both parties but it seems to me that they have more in common with the Democrats.

Why would showing ID to vote be such a bad thing, then there would be less accusations of voter fraud...right?

I have to show ID for everything, from buying booze and cigarettes to renting anything (cars, homes, storage, etc, etc.), to entering in certain buildings, to get on a plane, and to enter the country and when asked for it by the authorities. So is it really a big inconvenience to have to show it one more time?

they said no specific threats were made i think its much ado about nothing.george and hillary get their share of hate mail also.i think its a shame the lengths some will go to to be noticed.but we are finicky people we dont like being led around on a wild goose chase so if this is not true it will backfire.why waste secret service people on a assignment where they are not needed -its a waste of tax payer money.you will never be in a position where everyone loves you.thats a fact for all of us.i think its sad to hate someone based on race and ignorant but i dont think that puts you in danger.to be in danger a real threat would have to be made not like i dont like you cause you are black or i dont like you cause you are white or i dont like you cause you are a woman! this is just not right to think like that.i wish no harm to obama or any one else.but lets cut the crap and get to the truth for a change!good luck.

The Democrats' withdrawal plans from Iraq aren't just short-sighted, but also ignorant of history:

In recent years, South Korea has strengthened itself to the point that the United States cut its forces to "only" 37,500 military personnel.

We still have 69,000 troops in Germany, 62 years after V-E Day. We still have 47,000 troops in Japan and another 12,000 in Italy.

The U.S. military has more than 165,000 troops stationed in those four nations decades after their wars ended (technically, the Korean War is in a 53-year cease-fire).

That is 20,000 more troops than we now have in Iraq.

What's more, the conflicts that preceded the stationing of troops in those four countries cost many, many more lives than the approximately 3400 that have, sadly, been lost in the Iraq conflict.

In the US people are bending over backwards to cater to them...teaching Islam in CA schools, retrofitting areas so they can wash their feet and hands (all the while silencing any form of Christianity).

Now...out of no where...here comes Obama...NO experience (though SOME people think that he is the greatest) and he has a Muslim background.

Ok, oil is expensive enough (and show's no sign of dropping) to make it financially viable to ramp up oil extraction from the 'oil sands' in Canada (they are already our largest single source of crude oil already). Why not shift our efforts away from the middle east and towards Canada. If U.S oil companies can show there is another viable source for crude supplies and threaten to pull out of that part of the world, you just watch how fast the governments in that area exterminate terrorist and militia groups. Agreed? Pie in the sky, I know.

The rhetoric from the pro side is flawed, but I truly think they do not know it. I think they blind themselves to the holes in their arguments and try to silence the people who point them out by crying racism. I am actually in favor of comprehensive immigration reform, or amnesty, as some call it, but more and more, I am in favor of very strict penalties and rules so that we stop this pattern of coddling these people and shake some sense into them. They are showing us that they have no respect for us. The arrogance of their demands is overwhelming. It is going to take more than deportations to get them to understand. When they have to start paying taxes, fines, learn English, and wait years, then perhaps they will learn some respect. The same as you woud do with a spoiled rotten child.

This woman was stressed and emotional to see her father in the emergency room. The police officer pulled her over for speeding, because we all know thats the most dangerous crime in this country, that and HOV violations. Well you would expect it to be the most with the way police treat those two situations. Anyways, this video makes me hate police officers more and more. I have love and interest in FBI agents because they have to stay physically fit and have the best interest for the country AND Its citizens. Most police officers, like this one, are so out of shape. Anyways, here is the video, tell me what you think. The worst part of it, he only got a 5 day suspension. http://news.aol.com/topnews/articles/_a/florida-deputy-suspended-over-rough/20070504085809990001?ncid=NWS00010000000001
