IN that range, yes. But nobody who was elected president depended on his presidential salary! You can bet that presidents going back to George Washington made a living doing other things! (some not always legal)

Yes you are right but after they leave they become millionaires for speeches etc.Also retirement is great.Free health care for life and protection for life.It is better to be an ex-President than a in office president. Check out Clinton salaries and comps.Pitiful!!!
