I like that quote. Here's an idea, event and person wrapped into one sentence.
Impeach bush now to save america!

Their is wisdom in this quote,Eleanor Roosevelt was an admirable Woman.I think, regarding America, this speaks of the great cross section of ideas being served up in the media, to the American public. Those who seek out ideas, find them in Books,on non commercial talk shows, and even in Editorial commentary. The current events people read the Newspapers, watch a variety of programs, and are effected mostly by what they gather, day by day.Their are some who will dwell on gossip, celebrity trivia,on the phone talking about their neighbors.I am sure Mrs.Roosevelt was one of those great minds, being in Politics I'm sure she was confronted by all types of people.

Maybe, there is. I think it's a fairly accurate quote, if not general. How about these?

It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds.
~ Samuel Adams

I very much dislike doctrinaire liberals - they want to own your minds. And I don't like reactionary conservatives. I like to face issues in terms of conditions and not in terms of someone's inborn political philosophy.
~ Carl Albert

Small is the number of people who see with their eyes and think with their minds.

Sometimes to ask a question is to answer it.I wouldn't totally blame the people though.
The way your elections are organized, your political system is very much about personalities which sure is entertaining but it can prevent people voting on issue's or even really thinking about issue's

Thanks for that. I would remind folks that we can't blame it all on the media. They wouldn't be offering a product if it wasn't selling like hot cakes.
