About that guy who quit his job and spent his life savings living lavishly after being told he had pancreatic cancer and only 2 years to live........only to be told when his money was all gone that the diagnoses was incorrect and that he actualy had pancreatitis ( a treatable condition ). Do you think he should get some form of compensation from the diagnosing hospital ? He says he does not want to take the hospital to court.

My husbands ex commited perjury by submitting hand made w2's that were false and tax documents that were false. She signed a form stating that all documents were correct and if they were not she would be committing perjury. Our lawyer said nobody has ever been convicted for something like this. If so why does'nt everybody get to lie in court? This ex also makes her own license plate stickers almost every year. Help in Columbus Ohio

We are outraged that the Iraqi government is going to take off for 2 solid months this summer while our brave and valiant soldiers will continue to give their lives in battle during that same period!

But wait a minute here!

How much time has our BLUNDERER-IN-CHIEF spent on that ranch of his in Crawford?

How often does that cowardly LEMON-IN-CHIEF sneak off to that ranch of his in Crawford, Texas while soldiers continue to die in battle in Iraq?

The Iraqi government is going to be MISSING IN ACTION for two months this summer.

In George W. Bush, they have an excellent teacher who shows them how to be MISSING IN ACTION and get away with it.

Didn't all of the people who voted for George W. understand that there was plenty of evidence that he operated this way?

How can you tell that a Republican president has been MISSING IN ACTION?

Because, in 87 months as president, he has vetoed only two bills !!!!

How can we veto a presidency?!!! an AWOL IN CHIEF ?!!!

Idea for a book I had 17/18 yrs ago: Gov't gets tough on drug cartels, cartels react by arming their clientelle, telling them to kill people for free drugs, in order to cause anarchy and get Gov't to back down.Has this been scenario'd? Is this why drug cartels are largely ignored?

I didn't know that.

Iraqis will tell you public enemy #1 is the USA.

Sunnis will tell you #1 is Shiites.

Shiites will tell you its Sunnis

Any way you put it, its perfectly obvious that Alqaeda has little presence in Iraq compared to those big three.

How can they be #1?
They weren't even in Iraq before Bush invaded.

I think it is not bad to use corporal punishment , not only in child rearing where some children really need it from youth to teens, but in the military and in the jail and prison system.
It is not bound in just a strap or paddle or whip but takes on form in boxing, pugil and martial arts as well, it can even take hold in the rigor of men and women and it is a good and honorable means of dispute resolutions.
I tell you, I would rather see convicts boxing, kicking ***, beating asses, and setting respect and honor with themselves, their brothers the guards and society as a whole through a system of allowance, challenge, and hey, clean cut honest manhoodship over the stabbing and degenerate sickness our current systems deploy.
I favor a network of man, a help to all man network that protects and disciplines all and casts none aside.

The Independent tells us the defenders thereof want to make it a right for people with, say, a terminally illness to say 'tarrah' and jump on the 02.40 to estado de la luz. But wait...isn't suicide one of those 'crimes' you can 'get away' with, in a manner of speaking - if of course you succeed. Criminal punishment sure will not deter the determined...if someone has a cancer that will not leave, or has up to 20 grand mal epileptic fits a day, which even the strongest drugs won't retard, an ASBO (which is what the Brits. tend to hand out) won't mean nowt - it even will make people even more determined. If people want to do it, they will, won't they?

One of my friends is under investigation for it. He slept with her but it wasn't rape. I was there along with one of my other friends and we both know it wasn't. She had drank some 5 or 6 hours before they slept together and she is trying to claim he took advantage of her which he didn't. She even initiated it. How do these usually play out?

Let's say the accident was minor, just two cars involved, no parties injured and minor damage to both cars.

*Bearing in mind that you would have to state it was not your fault and this would involve 'creating' an alternative version of events in your accident statement to your insurers.
