I don't see how this is a question as much as a statement of opinion and a challenge to oppose it.
To be honest, the Bush administration has been in authority during a sharp increase in the exercise of "executive privelege," which has led to a higher use of authority in the name of the presidential power. That much can be proven, and perhaps could be the basis of what you call a "cowboy type" administration.
However, it can be argued that the devotion of the president to his pre-determined program could be seen as determined and confident. The economy has been affected in ways that are complex and hard to measure, certain sectors benefitting from a kind of business tax cut and other suffering. The war of course has strengthened some industries and hurt others, and thus the common argument that this administration is "ruining the economy" is hard to prove, and will not be seen until we see the results of the next few years of fiscal turnouts.
If by "lies and distruction of lives and human values" you mean the destruction of lives in war time, the same argument could be made of any president who allowed or accepted an open war during their term. In that case, would you argue that every president who has ever presided during a war has "brought America down," considering that World War II signalled the end of America's Greatest Depression (to date)?
Personally, I do not agree with Bush's policies, nor do I agree with the policies of a majority of his detractors. I'm a libertarian by alignment, though I don't agree with a lot of the libertarian party's platform. To be honest, there are many others like me who do not agree wholeheartedly with any political candidate and are forced to choose the lesser of evils. When voting in the last election, the choices being (realistically) John Kerry and GW Bush, I chose Bush. The reason being, of course, that I am in the middle ground and at the time, Kerry had the most liberal voting record in the senate (according to percentage of liberal votes, not total volume, which would have been Ted Kennedy since he's been there for a hundred and a half years). Aside from that, his plan in Iraq was to fight the war "correctly," which would have led to an increased budget, and more loss of lives, which to me goes back to your original statement about the "distruction" of human life and values.
So what is the alternative that you propose, if the Bush administration is the greatest of all evils? That we had elected Kerry, who promised more of what you said you do not want? To elect a third party candidate, who serve a minority interest? To cause open revolution and anarchy in order to overthrow the corrupt government?
The answer to this is that there is no alternative at this point, other than that which has been seen. The midterm elections show one of the most rapid and powerful changes of power in congress that have ever been seen in American history, and I think that is a good sign. People tend to think that the only way to get their agenda completed, or to be represented, is to elect a president with whom they agree. The truth is that the best way to get your voice heard is to elect local officials who will represent you the best in congress, because in congress they will be able to excercise the highest authority. A president may veto a bill, but a congress may over-ride the veto. A president may order a bill, or suggest a method, but only lawmakers can approve them.
My answer to you is this: if you are so dead set against the Bush administration, write to your congressperson. Write to every congressperson, to the point that you are a thorn in their side. Become and advocate of social change, and they will be as well, if for no other reason than to get you off their back.
I may not agree with your voice, but I will defend to the death your right to speak it, and I will advise you to speak it in a forum where it will become an avenue for change. Complaining here will never result in change. Get out there and do it for yourself.
Because if you don't, no one else will.

I find it amazing that some people blame the media for how the population feels about the economy. Every time I hear about the economy on the news, they always talk about economic indicators being great. The problem is that the average citizen doesn't judge the economy based on economic indicators. They see their salary not going as far as it did 4-5 years ago. They see gas at $3.29/gallon. They see rents for a 2 bedroom apartment going up to $2500/month, or 3 bedroom houses going for $800,000 in bad neighborhoods.. They see their grocery bill at $200/week. Inflation is low, but their salary still isn't keeping up with it. They see trillions of dollars being spent on an unpopular war.

Answer: No! "weaken the economy?" Unemployment the lowest in twenty years, personal incomes increasing for the last five quarters, interest rates at 30 year lows, stock and bonds all high! The Dow's "bull run" the longest in history, and with that the value of American citizens IRA and 401's are growing by leaps and bounds, as they are tied to stocks.
The worst American economy since the Great Depression was orchestrated by democrat Jimmy Carter...guess you are to young to have lived through it or be taught that reality in school.
Enlighten us with the dictionary defination of "distruction".

People do not think Bush is the best, even his supporters.
But in their twisted minds, they feel that if they do not support the Commander-In-Chief, then they are being unpatriotic.
They need to be counseled and persuaded that this is not the case.
Be giving him any more support would be to disrespect the troops and cause more hardship for the people of America.

Even his own party are starting to try and distance themselves from him as an electoral liability!
He has caused more damage to the US than any person in it's history!
It is not just the economy but America's standing in the world which has deteriorated a lot and both will take a long time to recover when he goes because of the depth of the damage he has done!

Go to YouTube and search for dumb americans.
It's scary.
There are in fact 20 million Americans who think that what ever George Bush does is Ok, because he's a born again, patriotic Republican.
Bomb Saskatchewan? No problem!
.
Such blind loyalty in the face of contrary evidence is scary!!!!

Being tied to the Iraq war will bring the US economy down with the other superpowers concentrating on their economic reforms. Americans must unite to solve terrorism and move on to improve their economy to pay its debts to China, Saudi Arabia and Russia.
