We are not fighting a country, or an army. Who would we surrender to? And if you say 'the terrorists' does that mean that we aren't done until everyone who is a terrorist is dead in the world? How long do you think that will take?

I need help for an essay to 'bulk it up'.

I have made a point about the death penalty being used for murderers and kidnappers (when the hostage dies).

So my question is this......
Is there a case in which the kidnapper recieved the death penalty after a hostage died IN AMERICA? Please give me relevant dates, names, etc.

Victory in Europe Day (V-E Day) was May 8, 1945, the date when the Allies during World War II formally celebrated the defeat of Nazi Germany and the end of Adolf Hitler's Third Reich. On that date, massive celebrations took place, notably in London, where over a million people celebrated in a carnival atmosphere.

Apparently, liberals in Congress are planning a Surrender in Iraq Day (S-I Day). Will they celebrate in a likewise carnival atmosphere? Will the Dixie Chicks will provide a free concert for the jubilent liberal masses?

What is the procedure, price, and requirements to do this?

The mother wants to get the teen emancipated, but the father is a different story and a restraining order may be needed for the protection of the teen. The goal is to get the teen out of the environment with the father, because the father is abusive but the mother wants to stay with the father. The teen would have someone to take them in as long as the teen stays self - supportive financially.

The Labor department released new employment data today.
Since most of the neo-cons around here continue to crow about how great the economy is, I thought I would ask them to respond to this latest batch of less than stellar economic news.

"The nation's unemployment rate edged up to 4.5 percent in April as cautious employers added the fewest new jobs in more than two years, signaling that the labor market is starting to feel some of the strain of the sluggish economy.

The new tally of jobs added to the economy was the fewest since 65,000 jobs were added in November 2004.

The new report also showed that job gains in February and March turned out to be a bit weaker than previously reported.
The economy in the January-to-March quarter grew at a feeble pace of 1.3 percent, the weakest in four years. It's the most up-to-date figure on gross domestic product, the best barometer of the country's economic fitness

Hind sight is always 20/20, so it is easy to pass judgement. But if I were that lady I would have said, look, you can arrest me, write me a ticket, whatever, but I am going to see my father in the emergency room - in cuffs if you want, but let me see my dad.

I guess cops hear every story under the sun, but in the three minutes it took him to write this ticket, while she waited in the car, he could easily have verified her story - he was just a jerk, and hey, two white people too, so I guess even whitey has to eat hood occasionally even when it isn't justified.

Grating prime years of one's life fighting for justice in delhi courts, waiting for months for the next hearing and thennnnn getting a new hearing date, then the judge changes , then comes the court holidays and then the opposite party want another date as the lawyer is not well, or is not ready for the arguements......... the list goes on and on. A simple person spends more than his earnings on lawyers and other formalities of the courts........ waiting for the justice to knock on his door ! He files the case at the age of 35 and still waits when he is 55 ! Can he get back his 20 years he spent fighting for justice ?? Even if the order comes in his favour will he be able to enjoy its fruit ?? This system is a complete failure !! Rather it should not exist where a man fights his whole life for justice and his whole family becomes the victim of this injustice judiciary , where his kids forget childhood .... where he himself forgets about his young age, where hopes fail, where ages fall.

Just wondering if any guy could clarify this in terms of the US army:

Does the US army give you options to leave basic training if you are not cut out?

What does the phrase 'failure to adapt' actually mean?

Why is a discharge not as fast or not administered as easily as the above? (if indeed this is the case)
