Death Penalty in America?????

I need help for an essay to 'bulk it up'.

I have made a point about the death penalty being used for murderers and kidnappers (when the hostage dies).

So my question is this......
Is there a case in which the kidnapper recieved the death penalty after a hostage died IN AMERICA? Please give me relevant dates, names, etc.

James, I cannot remember the specific dates (late 1930's), but Bruno Hoffman received the death penalty for kidnapping the Lindberg baby in New Jersey. He was convicted on circumstantial evidence but his nemesis was public outcry more than physical evidence.

There is Victor Feguer, which was the second-to-last inmate to receive the federal death penalty. (The last was Timpthy McVeigh, of the Oklohoma City bombing.)

He kidnapped a doctor and crossed state lines and received the federal death penalty. This was March 15, 1963.

There is also Carl Austin Hall:

He and an accomplice kidnapped and killed a college student for ransom. This was Sept 1953.

There are others, such as Arthur Gooch, but I couldn't find any details on his case.

Well.. for starters if a kidnapper causes the death of a hostage, they become a murderer.
