who can supply China with oil at the cheapest cost? Iran or the USA?

China is a communist country, they hate religion of any kind, they wouldn't even be on the side of Iran who is very central in their Moslem faith. The Iran government wouldn't take anything from China knowing they could be swallowed up whole.
China is a trading partner with the US but they wouldn't side with us because we are a democracy, and though many are trying to make us a secular nation, we are not. We wouldn't stand for our freedom of religion to be wiped out by their policies.
China is the last bastion of Communism, along with tiny Cuba, and they are going to keep to themselves.

China is concerned only with economic matters. It will endeavor to stay away from the issue of Iran's uranium enrichment. If that cannot be resolved diplomatically, China will not assist Iran, which will leave Iran vulnerable.

I think neither side. China will be more than happy to see both sides ruin their economies and government so that it could become the next world superpower. As said several times here, China is on its own side.
