When you've got two OIL men in the White House, OIL companies can get away with anything they like! Don't be fooled by their typical lazy answer that OIL is a commodity and its price is controlled by market demand. Someone sits up there, rolls the dice, and decides what they're going to sell OIL for today. OIL companies are making obscene quarterly profits, and it's time the government steps in and regulates such graft. But, until there are no more OIL men in the White House, that ain't gonna' happen! We've still got a year-and-a-half of being ripped off. -RKO- 05/04/07

Yah. It is about time to get really mad. The fact is that in Iran gasoline sells for a little more than $.30 per gallon. This fact tells me that the petroleum companies can still produce gasoline at that price and still make a profit or there would be no gas available in Iran. Our Congress must stand up for the US public and demand restitution for the exhorbitant profits that the petro corporations are raking in quarter after quarter.
The above is an over exaggeration because of other factors, but it is not right (there should be a law against it) for petroleum companies to offset their loses in China with higher prices in the USA where they are making billions in profit.
