As an 'outsider' (non-American) this is how I see the situation in Iraq at the moment. Please correct me if I am wrong.

1. The Republican view: We cannot leave Iraq now, if we do, there will be chaos.
1. Democratic view: We have to leave Iraq soon, because there is chaos, partly caused by our presence.

2. The Republican view: We cannot leave Iraq, until the Iraqi Government can stand by itself.
2. Democratic view: We have to set a timeline/deadline, in order to signal to the Iraqi Government that they have to take urgent and necessary steps to take charge of the situation. We can't stay in Iraq indefinitely.

3. The Republican view: We won’t talk to Iran and Syria until they stop supporting the insurgents.
3. Democratic view: We need to talk to Iraq’s neighbours in order to convince them to stop supporting the insurgents.

Robin Hordon – Former FAA Air Traffic Controller at the Boston Air Route Traffic Control Center, Former Certified Commercial Pilot. Former Certified Flight Instructor and Certified Ground Instructor.

"I knew within hours of the attacks on 9/11/2001 that it was an inside job. Based on my 11-year experience as an FAA Air Traffic Controller in the busy Northeast corridor, including hundreds of hours of training, briefings, air refuelings, low altitude bombing drills, being part of huge military exercises, daily military training exercises, interacting on a routine basis directly with NORAD radar personnel, and based on my own direct experience dealing with in-flight emergency situations, including two instances of hijacked commercial airliners, I state unequivocally; There is absolutely no way that four large commercial airliners could have flown around off course for 30 to 60 minutes on 9/11 without being intercepted and shot completely out of the sky by our jet fighters unless very highly placed people in our government and our military wanted it to happen.

For some reason, I think some people are trying to 'rope' Obama in with those two nutty "Reverends". That are on a rampage. Please don't, I don't read a question on yahoo answers saying that he wouldn't vote for Obama because of the two "Reverends".

Obama has his opinions and he is entitled to them, but I don't think people should vote for him because of Al and Jesse. It's not his fault. Yes, pick on Al and Jesse all you want because they are hipocrites, but Obama isn't and shouldn't be labaled because of them.

Personally, I think he's make an Awesome president ... along with Mrs.Clinton as the VP ;)

Opposition to the foreign forces is increasing in Iraq every hour.Correct or wrong the country has been invaded and torn to pieces.A Government has been elected and a begining for democracy made.It would save a lot of lives if the occupying forces leaves. After all there are other pressing issues in their own respective countries. The money can be better spent to eradicate poverty in the needy countries

I hear they have outlawed owning a certain number or combination of chemicals that are legal to purchase, so having two or three things in combination that are used to make meth can get you arrested now, even though the chemicals are legal to buy. I am confused about these laws.

I have alot of hobbies that entail buying chemicals. I like to make homemade soap, with lye. Sometimes I melt the soap down with sodium carbonate and borax to make homemade liquid laundry detergent. I make homemade candles. I have always enjoyed chemistry and like making my own products.

So sometimes when I am out buying lye and other chemicals I get worried because I hear now they have laws so just having legal chemicals can get you arrested, because meth is made out of legal chemicals. But I'm not sure which ones.

If I continue with my home made soap making and stuff, could I be prosecuted under meth laws for owning the chemicals?

I see SO many politicians posting on here questions like, "How can we make the tax burden lighter, etc"
Why dont they stop asking people and start doing something about it. They are already plenty informed about what the public thinks from polls, opinion surveys, etc. They do not need to go on a website and pretend to care.

Are these people blind, deaf, and dumb? Facts are being shared by experts and liberals want to shove it off as "racism". I think racism is a "comfortable" issue for these white liberals and they morph every other problem into that category so they can reuse the same posters and save a tree.

The Democrats will give all of our money to other countries, and turn sitting at home, watching judge judy, and making babies into a profit center. The Republicans will only take care of the super rich, go to war on any excuse, and teach our children that Adam and Eve rode dinosaurs to church. If you had to pick between the two, which would you pick, and why?

We should support the war, because: John McCain supports the war......

think about... this guy was tortured for 5+ years as a POW in Vietnam... he has seen what war does, lost friends, seen the death it causes. he´s experienced it first had...

he should be the very last person in america that to support war. UNLESS... he knows how important it is for this country to stop terrorism.... not to give in to these radical muslims...

So often you hear people saying that young blacks need better role models! Then when they have wonderful and strong role models like these Rutgers basketball players who deserve to be respected and held up as role models......someone like Don Imus or anyone for that matter can call them derogatory remarks over public airwaves and people are not outraged at that behavior?!?!?!

Why would anyone condone or defend this reprehensible behavior?
Don't try the 1st Amendment response because while yes his free speech is protected....his public talk show is not a gauranteed right!

I had hoped we were getting better as a society?
