200,000,000 (two hundred million!) in US debt in the form of bonds tomorrow what happens?

The US economy/pile of debt is completely dependent on foreign investment (foreigners buying future dollars assuming the will increase in value) to finance the huge and growing debt. In fact we need two hundred million per DAY to keep the gears greased.

2006 was the first year in history of negative investment in the US...more Americans invested in foreign companies than foreigners invested in US companies.

In 2000 the Euro was worth $0.86...now? $1.36 All other currencies have showed a similar movement against the dollar.

So again what happens if tomorrow the foreigners decide they are never going to recover their investment in dollars?

Why doesn't the "news" talk about this?

The patch has three red stripes and one red stripe attached to the top one with the eagle clutching that top stripe. Inside the stripes is a ship steering wheel.

If things are going so well, why do we have to increase the tour of duty? If our troops stay there long enough, can they apply for Iraqi citizenship? It seems like our military is paying for the current administration's mistakes. At what point will it reach the breaking point? Our involvement in WWII did not last this long.

Why a lot of americans prefer to asian people like vietnamesse, thailand etc, if most of this people does what americans complain about mexicans, come here, take jobs, i dont mean nasty hard jobs, no, they want to be in the best places of america, they are consumated social climbers, and asian girls even act like if they were better than american girls, treat the american men like if they were their dogs, the boys think they are smarter and if you look on magazines, TV, now asians are taking over the shows, comercials, agency models, they are pushing aside to the americans,I understand when you complain about delinquents, but not all of us are like that. I just wonder why you complain so much about mexicans that work just like the asians and they are foreigners too. I hope somebody can explain me. Thank you.

I've read articles and seen it in action on Mail Call and FutureWeapons. It is lighter, less restrictive, less rigid, and seems to be just as good as the OTV. What's the deal? The only questionable thing I noticed was that the Pinnacle boys seemed reluctant to let someone shoot at the vest from 200m. Real soldiers know that 200m is where you find maximum penetration of lead on target. Anyone know better?

My friend made it through basic and AIT but then before he was transferred to his unit he went to his commanding officers and told them about his gambling problems and how he needed to get help right away.. They didnt do anything at first so his family contacted red cross and the red cross contacted the military and he got a 10 day leave before going to his unit... He never made it back to the army. He was been gone for two years and he went to GA for his gambling help and he searched for god and found help there... It has been 2 years AWOL and he has gotten pulled over by the cops once for a speeding ticket and went to court... He has a good job where they run a background check on him... Hes bought a house and a new car... All of this while he was AWOL... And now that hes gotten the help he has saved up money for his family while hes gone he wants to know what happens now with the AWOL and why they havent hunted him down or arrested him when he was pulled over or bought a house????

What is our House speaker doing in other countries. She isn't a diplomat, she has no authority to be talking to other countries. Especially to countries that don't believe that woman should be in power. This lady is a corprate sell out, and not an american.

Hello, here is the story. Fist this is for my girlfriend.
He husband and herself are going through a divorce and they have a house that he is living in. She and her son moved out and he is responsible to pay the mortgage and taxes as he still lives there. This is just and agreement between them. To further complicte the issue, he had some tax issues a few years ago and he wanted to remodel the house. Due to his tax lien he had himself removed from the deed and the Mortgage loans. She is the only name on both so it is her credit the is in jeopardy if he does not pay the monthy bill. The house is still not finshed after 5 years and does not have final inspection.
Question is can she evict him from the house and put it up for sale to get out of debt? If there any equity is she liable to give him half?
Really all she wants is to get out from under a house that she no longer lives in but us responsible for. She would rather not file for bankruptcy is there is another optio

I'm interested in answers as they pertain to mental issues, not more tangible disabilities like missing limbs.

Here's what I understand happens: Pvt. A comes back from war. When he can't perform his military job, a physician/physicians determines how much of his pay he receives until the final review comes up with a % of disability.

In the mean time he doesn't report to duty as usual.

By the way, what DOES happen during that time?

Please remain civil; I am asking because I really want to know, not to make a political point.

Are you against the government monitoring (in any way) who purchases firearms? And if so, why? Don't you think there is safety in checking someone's background to make sure we're not selling a gun to a person with a history of violence?

Romney had a question on Yahoo answers and it was so typical of a politician- using words like "growth" and "innovation"and "ease the burden on families" but not really provoking any real discussion about anything important- that it got me to thinking about what he was really all about. He has flipped on a number of issues to appear like a better choice to conservatives (abortion rights, gun control, gay marriage for example). He recently joined the NRA as a Best Friends Forever and Ever member and is trying to convince people that he has hunted his whole life when it appears that he has hunted twice- when he was a kid and again about a year ago. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that guys like Bush and Romney and Guliani don't follow through on their promises to the far right after they get elected- most of these things are things I oppose anyway- why does the far right keep folling for it?

So he's a Mormon. He doesn't smoke drink, carouse. He doesn't have multiple wives, a black hat, or horns. The Mormon "agenda" is about truth, justice, and equity. He will consult with God in all his decisions, so why not? I say there is no reason why not!

According to the Book of Mormon a dark skin is a curse imposed by God on the unrighteous and their descendants as a punishment for sin. Do you agree with that doctrine? (Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 12:22-23, Alma 3:6, 2 Nephi 5:21-22, Jacob 3:8, 3 Nephi 2:15-16, Mormon 5:15; references to the "Lamanites" are taken to be referring to Native American "Indians".
