What car do you drive? Get used to gas getting up to 7.50 by 2010. It's supply and demand. Supply is steady at 28 million barrel a day tops, but demand is growing past that. Since bush and rice pissed of every nation ,who could give us a deal, they rather sell to the Chinese and no, Arctic Oil tar is not an answer, it would even be enough to fill up Bush's fleet of security service.

You could direct that question to the wing of US government that controls the Environmental Protection Agency. They are the ones that won't allow a pipe line from Alaskan North Shore, (some of the largest oil fields in world) to the lower 48, just to protect some bugs.

You either support that or not!

So that the price of oil increases by an increase in demand for oil due to the rising prices. This will also get people to support the war in the middle east because there are oil reserves there.

The reason why we have high gas prices has absolutely nothing to do with Supply and Demand!

That is purely Republican Bullsit and Bush's propaganda!

It it were solely due to Supply & Demand how can they explain those 427 Billion Dollars in Profit? and the Millions of dollars they are paying their CEO's as bonuses?

They Can't!

The reason is that Bush & his corrupt energy administration is allowing them to raise the prices to allow for Bush's political payback for the millions of dollars that the oil companies contributed to his campaigns!

This is sooooooooo obvious!

Why isn't important. What are you willing to do about it is. Keep in mind, that since the alternative fuels are not in place for the mainstream population to use, that we will bare the brunt of whatever fallout comes from punishing these guys in an unwise way.

Actually, the price is dictated mostly by Mid East. If you get the politicians out of the war decision making and go win, the price will follow down, but as long as the politicians are helping kill our boys to line their pockets or their egos, we will keep paying for the war that we could win!!!

The partisanship you tutor is honestly astonishing. Candidate Obama positioned the blame for gasoline expenses squarely on Bush. And the left consistently reported it replaced into because of the fact he gained for larger expenses because his family contributors replaced into in touch in oil. Now "your" guy in place of work has honestly no blame to shoulder? And each and all of the submit from the left on right here asserting Repubs lie etc does us no sturdy what so ever. And this style of infantile why do "they" lie remark those in Washington choose us to work together in. I keeps them from looking genuine recommendations to the difficulty and being held in charge. sure that's complicated, yet combating pipelines and combating offshore drilling is for specific not a pass interior the best course. And all larger taxes does is push the cost directly to the buyer. And your final sentence shows you have deeper subjects and a hate for morality and Christians previous this actual concern. something human beings might desire to get smart to the plan of the political ruling class to divide and triumph over and end believing one occasion over the different continually tells the certainty or that one or the different is extra for the conventional guy or woman or vast organisation. they're all out for themselves and the thank you to get re-elected, including the present President. Time to unite and concentration on the genuine subjects and genuine recommendations. and end the propaganda of why do "%. the different area" lies approximately " insert your area"?

If you know it's bull, then why don't you show the facts and figures to back your point up so people can begin to make a change. Not sticking up for Oil, but seriously, bring SOMETHING to the table.

So why don't they quit the bull and just charge 4 dollars a gallon. How 'bout 5 dollars. It would cut down on our gas consumption, which would help Global Cooling, and then Al Gore could fly his jets more often.

I think they just pull excuses out of a hat to tell the public. Most of the time their reasons are contradictory to reasons they have given before.
