Oh gosh first I have to admit a new addiction that I have; Yahoo Answers. Here it's lunch and I'm using my laptop to ask questions instead of talking to my friends and eating by my laptop in the library. lol lol Anyway the bell is ringing soon but here goes. He's had girlfriends even before he was President and while in the White house developed a relationship with a young pretty girl. Also when you see them standing together you don't get a vibe of closeness that a husband and wife have. I have a boyfriend that I love dearly and people know that we are physically bonded even when we just stand near. My parents have an affection for each other where my dad will take my mom in his arms and just hold her. Sometimes my mom gives my dad these special looks that tell that they are affectionalte with each other. This type of thing is lacking with the Clintons. The only thing I can figure is that she loves women (as her husband does also) and Mr. Clinton has had to look elsewhere.

IMO religion/spirutal services are bought and sold just like cell phone service or cable TV. How can we (the voter-taxpayers) get them paying taxes, just like other businesses?

Imus works for broadcasters. They are free to hire or fire him if he gets out of line and makes them look bad. Imus is "free" to say what he wants on HIS OWN DIME!.
Let him personally finance his OWN show if he wants. MSNBC has NO OBLIGATION to keep him on the air. No more so than they are obliged to give me my own show so I can put down White people. (which I am not inclined to do!)

Imus' rights are intact. He has done nothing illegal. And is even free to join the KKK and say whatever he wants as long as he can find the financial means to broadcast his filth.

Free speech doesn't mean his bosses have to pay for it to the detriment of their bottom line.

Basically, he's an employee who crossed the company line and got canned. Don't like it, get your own damn network and say what ever you want. Problem is, no advertisers will want to associate with you if you spew racist garbage.

So Imus is still free to stand on a corner and call people "jiggaboos" and "nappyheaded hos".

Guess it doesnt apply when Republicans want to throw FOOD of all things at Democrats.

Write a critical essay asserting your opinion of the current war in Iraq. Your paper should draw upon representations of the Vietnam War in Tim O’Brien’s short story “The Things They Carried” and/or Jeannie Barroga’s play Walls. Thus, this paper will, in addition to being a research paper, be a comparative analysis of the two military conflicts, in Vietnam and Iraq. In short, your task is to 1) consider the representation of the Vietnam War in the primary text(s) above, 2) develop your own viewpoint about the Vietnam War based on primary and/or secondary sources, 3) compare current conditions involving the war in Iraq with your understanding of the Vietnam War. This process should culminate with your own assertion about the current war in Iraq.

i was told by one of my liberal democrat friends that the rapper eminem does not deserve to be so successful at rapping because he is white.
(personally, i don't care much for eminem.)
anyway, this is one of many rediculous statements i hear from this liberal friend.
honestly, when i have some more time, i'll share some more of these gems.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Money woes and Pentagon neglect are to blame for shoddy outpatient conditions and bureaucratic delays at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, an independent review has concluded. Seems like he could have used some of the billions to help out those already injured from his fallacious war. Instead he just wants to send more young over there to get injured and not take care of them after.

Do you consider that a waste when the person in congress ALWAYS votes for their party? Try this, look back at the last say 16 years, show me any important vote where congress did not overwhelmingly support their party, overwhelmingly could be defined as 67% of the time.

I have looked over the past few years so I am pretty certain it has been going on since at least when clinton was first elected.

Not an easy question to answer... but there must be something(s) that sparked such intense hatred. We never hear about why 'The Terrorists' want to kill us in the first place. Is it aid to Israel... meddling in their holy land... a mixture of both? There must be some diplomatic type solution to the root of the problem.. anything but an endless war.

Would you throw away your vote for a political statement.

When Perot and Nader ran, did the people who voted for them waste their vote, did they inadvertantly actually vote for one of the others, since their vote did not go to one of the others? Hope that made sense.

I took a political questionnaire o this website:

http://www.politicalcompass.org/questionnaire

And here were my results!!!!

http://www.politicalcompass.org/printablegraph?ec=-1.88&soc=2.05

I'm a tree-huggin Hippie! What's wrong with me?

However, I looked at the "famous people" chart:

http://www.politicalcompass.org/images/internationalchart.gif

And it turns out I'm right around Pope Benedict, so I guess that's pretty good...

But still, I'm a LIBERAL!!!! (I feel so used...)
