i was told by one of my liberal democrat friends that the rapper eminem does not deserve to be so successful at rapping because he is white.
(personally, i don't care much for eminem.)
anyway, this is one of many rediculous statements i hear from this liberal friend.
honestly, when i have some more time, i'll share some more of these gems.

see i knew this would annoy the libs to the point of denying it even took place. it is totally true. i get many far worse statements from the many different libs i know.
i've grown up in a union iron worker family and i live in a democratic city and state. i have a lot of exposure to the twisted logic of the liberal mind.

as expected, the liberals' responses have illustrated my point.

Liberals are guided by emotions and from what others tell them to believe.

They don't rely much on intelligence.

Umm...does one stupid statement from one person automatically make everyone in a group stupid. That would be called stereotyping and would be just as dumb. Besides that all rap sucks anyway, and a true liberal would think that just because some one is of one ethnicity or another doesn't mean they could be any worse a rapper.

well, it sheds light on your one friends liberal mind. I'm a liberal, and I could give a F@@K about Eminem. My politics have nothing to do with how I feel about the music I like.

Sounds like your friend just has poor taste in music. So how does that warrant your generalized and stupid comment about 'the liberal mind'? That is like saying that since Cheney shots his friends in the face that ALL republicans shot their friends in the face. Well maybe that is true but you know what I'm saying.

Liberals have very divergent views on arts and entertainment. Just because you know one liberal who has a particular point of view, that does not mean he or she is representative of all liberals.
Personally, I don't like any rapper or entertainer, white, brown, or black whose lyrics or act are degrading or misogynistic.

your friend is an idiot, but I suspect you already know that. Personally I think most rap artists suck, but that's another issue. I like eminem, because he's a bit different than his rap counterparts. The fact that he's white is irrelevant.

There are silly people in both parties. However, the person in the conservative party that holds the highest elected office in our country said this (among other things):

"The problem with the French is that they have no word for Entrepreneur".

Does that shed some light on the conservative mind?

Also, your description of your friend sheds some light on who you are.

No, your friend's opinion doesn't even shed light on his own, individual mind. If he's somehow represents anyone other than himself, you should specify his affiliation and status as a spokesperson in your question.

This coming from a person who "supports free speech". It's obvious. In communist idea, you can't be a white rapper, but in capitalism, you can be a white rapper and be darn successful at it. Look which one wins....

Sounds like a pretty racist statement if you ask me. I can't say I'm really surprised at some of these things, though. You didn't by chance hear it from Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, did you?

You are baiting people. I doubt anyone said that in the first place let alone make sure you were aware of their political views. Get a life!
