War or charade? Look at it this way. Our country occupy's 133 countries of the 180 in the world, Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that were loaded onto our military vehicle's, that right their would have ended that war. But look you have Dick cheney who is a big stock holder in KBR that builds bases for our government and supplies workers. If i was him i wouldn't end the war to much money in my pocket. Our government knows we don't have enough troops, we had to look after 2.8 million people with just 400 of us. Now, to control your people you have to use fear, not fear by fearing the goverment to take away our rights, but use terrorism as a fear to take away our rights. Phone tappings, account watching, gun control laws, RFID chips in cars, cant leave the USA without a passport, stricter land laws, etc..... Open your eyes and see the big picture, our government doesn't fear terrorist they fear US.......

Cute question. This "conflict" is niether of those things. What it is , is a matter of life and death. Over 3,000 U.S. soldiers killed . What it is, is a drain on the nations wealth , over 400 billion spent and counting. What it is, is a strain on the union, less than 1/3 of us who are satisfied with the results of 4 years of effort. These are real and serious circumstances in which we find ourselves , and regardless of how we arrived to where we are,a solution has to be reached. Pointing fingers and accessing blame isn't going prevent one death, or save one cent.

Neither.
It was a remove of a threat to the US (Hussein) that has now turned it to a horrible humanitarian campaign to stabilize a country into a democratic nation.
