I asked this question. This is a legitimate question. I think that if we are ever going to be equal, that ALL races should be represented.

Why can all races except for those that are of European descent be able to have organizations to promote their race and their agenda, but European-Americans can not?

Why can the African-Americans, the Hispanic-Americans, Asian-Americans...and so on a so forth...hell even the people that aren't in this country legally can have an organization represent them, but people that have European ancestry can not?

If we, as a country, are so hell bent on making everyone so equal shouldn't ALL races and ancestries be able to have organizations to represent them?

A previous question asked about Hillary Clinton's plan to take money from the oil companies to use it for research for alternative fuels. Good question. But the answers are very party driven - reps thinking its a communist plot, dems thinking its a good idea, seemingly because its coming from 'their candidate'.

So here's my question...with an open, unpartied mind, please think about it...

If Bush proposed the same, but phrased it differently, would it be accepted by reps? If he said he was doing it for the future of America and the American people. To provide alternatives in the future, but not at the expense of the American people, to make us less dependent upon Middle East countries...

I'm hoping you can look at this without party blinders... I really think its a legitimate and interesting thing to think about....

Thanks, in advance, for your consideration and thought...

Why do many liberals say that we deserved the attack on 911 and that Bin Laden was just in the attack when comments taken from interviews with Bin Laden from Al Jereez declares that "Osama bin Laden hates the liberal U.S. culture that promotes contraception, abortion, and homosexuality". Do liberals and democrats now not believe in their own ideas???

Interesting but ....Repubs want it to be government funded private insurance. Dems want the government to take over. Either way they want it to be controlled for public health. So one way or another its an inevitability as I see it. Prisoners are healthier than the general population. Now if you are paying for your premiums I think they will leave you alone but if you are a drain on the system, I think this is where it is gonna kick in? Which system do you prefer? Are you ready to change your ways if you are not wealthy enough to pay your own premiums?

The democratic peace theory states that democratic nations never go to war with each other. A number of political leaders, scientists, and even our president have espoused this notion. This supposedly also applies to oligarchies as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_peace_theory . Therefore it is implied that if all nations in the world were democratic there would be no wars. When is a nation considered democratic? Does the advance of democracy lead to a more stable world? Why or why not?

The instant a piece of technology is invented to make our lives easier, someone immediately abuses it. The invention of the telephone made possible long distance vocal harassment by wire... Who made the first dirty phone call? In what year? What did he (I'm assuming it was a 'he') say? And to whom?

I recently purchased a home and moved out of my apartment. Our lease was up, full notice was given, and the apartment was left empty and clean. My wife and I have been looking forward to getting our $1200 security deposit back. A check came in the mail but it was not the full amount. Our landlord took out $160 for broken handles on the microwave and dishwasher. The microwave handle was already on its way out when we moved in, and while I'm not positive we put it in writing, I vividly remember our conversation with the landlord about it's ailing condition. The dishwasher handle however did break while we were tenants. One day my wife shut the dishwasher and the handle just snapped off, we sent a note to the landlord along with our rent check that month describing what happened and we never received a reply. Aren't these normal wear and tear items? It is not as if I jump kicked the dishwasher to break the handle. Am I in a position to demand that $160 dollars? Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

We don't try to "promote leg health" to deal with people with a broken leg or try to join the "fight against injuries".
Do we?
We don't drift off into golden dreams of how the random samaritan is going to go teaching an injured person down the road how to carve wood and build their own crutch.
