If I go to the army active duty,how long would I be stationed for?

Right now they are doing 4 years of active duty service time. Stationed in a certain place differs. I'm stationed in Germany right now and I'm going to be at this duty station for 2 years, some duty stations are 1 year and some are 3 if you are taking dependents with you, and if you find a station you like you can put a request to stay there longer. I would suggest looking into what (MOS) you want to do. Research what jobs are available too, you don't want to be in a job that you don't want to do for 2 or 3 years. If you are GOING active duty, after basic. There are different lengths of tours in foreign countries. Some people never leave the US.

It will depend on your training.
