If you can sort things out with your neighbors, as to getting your stuff back, might work. If not, then yes, I would call the police to recover your stolen items. It is best that you keep a tract of all serial numbers, so forth, so incase anything else gets missing, you have your records to go by. Hope this helps.

Well, a thief is a thief and wrong is wrong, neighbor or not. Call the LAW. Question is that if you don't have proof, can you tell the police where they are located in the house? Watch ebay too, search for those items in your zip code and be sure to check most recently sold as this is where people get rid of stuff they've stolen out of your car in your driveway or home and be sure to make sure it's yours, ebay works with law enforcement in these cases. I would definately call!!!

You should call the police, and you can also sue them for stealing and trespassing. First, take the tape recorder with you and make them confess again. And if they still haven't returned your stuff, use that as an evidence at the court. But if they come and return it, don't deny it. If you do deny it, then you just "gave" them the stolen item so you can't sue them for that.
Sue them, and move on.
Isn't it outrageous that they just barged into your house and took your belongings(they need to learn a lesson)? They'll probably do it again so I suggest you move.
PS: They'll permanently be on the black list.
If something happened near them, they would be the first ones to be suspected.

You should contact the police immediately. The neighbors obviously think that you are not going to do anything about it, if they have admitted that they have your belongings. I think that you should talk to the police and file a report about the items you are missing.
The second thing you should do is to look for a better neighborhood to live in, do you really want to be living next door to people who are thieves? Best of luck to you and have a good night.

You absolutely should call the police and file a report. If the police ever locate the goods they may be able to identify them as yours and charge the person. Your suspicion of your neighbor will probably not be enough for the police to search their home but they can at least talk to your neighbor. Good luck.

Did you ask the neighbor to return the stuff, or did they just borrow it? You can always file a police report if they don't return your things.

Did you get your stuff back? If they admitted to stealing your stuff, and they didn't give it back to you, call the police, get your stuff back, and then move.

If you are of majority age, and they don't give them back, then yes, that is the appropriate action to take.
