I am overseas and have to crosstrain my deros is april 08. can i bring my family to tech school with me? or will i go while they stay here? what are my options?

if your school is long enough that you qualify for acompanied orders, then they can come with you. if not, then they stay behind.

now, you could get a move straight top your next duty station, but we all know how often those things change, so I wouldn't push it unless you knew for sure you were gonna graduate and be sent there( and then, not even then).

That will depend upon how long your tech school is. I am going to a year-and-a-half long school, and if I had a family, they would accompany me. However, if it's only for a few months, they will likely stay overseas until you graduate and return.

It depends on the length of your school. In the navy anything more than 26 weeks and the family went with you.

I agree with leah. What sense would it make PCSing your family for 3 months and then doing it again.
