This is just a right-wing conspiracy, don't you know that yet? Newsweek would never print a story like that, they are media GODS!

What this should show you ppl. is that the earth goes through these cycles, back then they were expecting another ice age....we did not have one....and now they are saying we are too warm and we are going to be covered by water. What I did find most interesting was near the end of this article it said something about covering the ice caps with black stuff to what....make it melt....the governments may have done this....they would never admit to it if they did.....and this could be why we are seeing all this melting.

I read the article and it doesn't prove the point you think it does. Global dimming has been occurring for decades. Particulate matter from pollution accumulates in the clouds to the point where they begin to reflect sunlight back into space. It would explain why there were signs of cooling in the 70's and it also explains why the increase in temperature has not been more dramatic.
30 years is enough time for scientists to accumulate more data and revise predictions. I'll take the scientific method over a 30 year old artical from Limbaughs web site any day.
