The zip code for where I live, according to addresses in the area and the USPS zip code finder thing, works for two alternate names of the exact same area. I could give my address as being in either of two cities. Why is this? Is there a preferable one to use? (I like the one that I haven't been using better).

Is there ways of detecting this when it happens and possible ways to stop it? How much territory does one nuclear weapon cover? Ok ok i know its not like the tv shows i watch..but i really am wanting to learn things..thanks!

It doesn't matter if the person is a criminal or a little kid. Maybe the officer tried to save the life of someone involved in a accident or drowning or had to take a life to save others including theirs.

Maybe it was a little kid found at the bottom of the pool that he pulled out and had to breath life into the little kid and the little kid dies. Maybe it was an armed robber who already took 5 shots at the officer and the officer had to shoot him.

Does any one really know what an officer feels after incidents like these?

America speaks English, with only a slight change in dialect separating it from British English- Hell, there's more lingual diversity inside Finland- which only has a population of 5 million!

With the influx of Mexicans you have now the oppurtunity to break free and merge Spanish with English to create a new, American, language. So, instead of complaining about Mexicans not learning English well enough start making progress!

That way, when you are too up yourselves you can express it in your own language and foreigners wont be offended anymore... !

Have the british given the Iraqis the 'License to kill' ?? They gave it only to James Bond before.
And do americans and the british look good only in hollywood / Bond movies nowadays?? ( look how their bloody a**es are being dragged all around in Iraq and Afganistan??

I already asked that question but because of my poor knowledge of English language, people didn't understand me.
I think that USA and Europe have a big influence to other culture. My opinion is: USA have big cultural impact on world (Japaniese listen MTV, watch Hollywood movies...) and political, economical impact which is gain by force. They act agresivly and world see it like that, that's why they don't like Americans.
European union, in the other hand, doesn't fell they have to be infront, like USA, but they are very successful in spreading their values and way of life. Countries like Romunia, Bolgaria or Turkey wish to be a part of union. They want to change their systems, accomudate to EU, accept western way of life. EU accepted in a union many countries in a last 10 years, from which they have advantages (big corporations buy firms...) and profit although some Europeans are against spreading. Countries, close to EU, are dreaming to be a EU part. EU is winning without force.

regarding parking cars outside your house??
we live on a terraced street and have 2 vehicles and we are constantly moaned at for parking outside other peoples houses but i say nothing when they park outside mine as i see that it is purely a first come first served situation
where possible we try to keep one vehicle outside our house and park the other, which is a company van (a small one though) wherever it will go
1 neighbour in particular always comes to ask my husband to move it so they can park their car there even if it is not outside their house, i think they have no right to do this, we have an agreement between ourselves that we will not park outside each others houses where poss and we have stuck to this over several months
we are not the only household with 2 vehicles but it feels like we are always singled out. please help..........what can be done??

although i already suspect nothing

I posted 2 questions with brief explanations expecting intelligent answers in return, instead out of all the responses I got 2 that answered the questions asked and the rest felt it was their right to attack myself and husbands character,lifestyle, even our education and income levels, which they know nothing about I gave no details about or had anything to do with the questions asked. I had one person say if you don't want to hear the answer don't ask the question, I didn't ask the question and as was the case with the rest of the responses she gave no answers. So what is the real reason for this site? Is it to answer questions that people need answers to? or is it a place for people that have nothing better to do in what must be their perfect lives then to cast judgement, assume facts and attack people they don't know? I wonder if these same perfect people would be so judgemental face to face ? Or accept strangers attacking their families as easily as they attack others?

Remember the reason, according to Bush, for America to attack Iraq, and kill thousands of innocents in the process, was that Saddam Hussein ALLEDGEDLY had weapons of mass destruction. In the end, no evidence of that was found whatsoever.

Now, North Korea has ANNOUNCED that they have nuclear capabilities and even ran an underground nuclear test. But with this substantial and incriminating evidence - Bush tells Pyong Yang that he wants to end this peacefully and diplomatically.

With thousands of young American soldiers having being killed in Iraq (and still dying) for an allegation that has proven to be untrue, America is NOT going to fight to 'save the world' now.

Why? Racism? Anti-Islam? Economical reasons? They can do with the oil in the Middle East but North Korea has nothing to offer?

Man, I really want to know why the f**k all this **** is happening.
