im getting a turtle i want it small like a mississippi mud turtle well atleaset the males like 6 iches please help me soon and i need to know what else i need what kin dof tank/cage how big and all that stuff temparture lighting tank size whatever you can think of!!!!! please help me with my turtle choice ohhyehhh and what turtle should i get!!!! think about a small turtle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was given two turtles because the person was going to just let them die so i took them.they are in two seperate tanks because they started to fight.i have hollow logs in each ,a soaking dish and try to feed them different foods, i also have lights. they are inside and seem to come out of their shell if i talk to them or play the piano. the tanks are glass but i keep things around them so they can't see out alot.they just stay in one place and i just don't know if iam doing the right things. i don't have a place outside to build them a regular habitat

I have recently bought 2 female leopard gecko's..
They are both in the same tank. (3ft x 1ft 6" x 1ft 6")
Someone told me to use a normal 60watt bulb with chrome back.

What is the best bulb to use?

the reason i ask is because my little brothers leopard geckos eyes had some shedded skin on it for a long time and he was having trouble eating his food because he couldn't see so we tried taking some of it off and now we think he doesn't have eyes. i don't its weird and i feel bad for the little animal.

I bought a baby juvenille carpet python today, and its kind of mean. It tries to strike me quite a bit. What can i do to chill this guy out. Should i buy a pair of gloves or do the bites not even hurt. Will it calm down with age. Should i leave it alone. i nedd reccomendations

Please help me! my 6 year old california kingsnake snake hasn't eaten for at least a month and today I tried to feed her, but the rat bit her and the skin at the end of her tail is off a few centimeters. What can I do!?! I don't have enough money for a vet, please tell me what I can do to help her! Will she need a certain type of medicine? I cleaned her up a little and got rid of the rat and now she's laying in her waterbowl (with fresh water by the way) with her head out. Is this okay? will she be okay? please just help me, I don't know what I'll do if I lose her now.

i had my red ear slider since december 26,2006 and have been giving her the same food since then,nothing has changed. I give her the floating pellets as a meal and the whole crill as a treat. But she is not any of it. please help!!!!!!!
