my son's sugar glider has a hole in the back of it's neck. Is this caused by a health issue or could it be from it's mate or a bug or parisite?

I'm looking for a good pet for my situation. I live in a dorm, in a room by myself. My family is in another state. I'm looking for a pet that's friendly, small, not too hard to maintain, dorm friendly, etc.

I was originally thinking of a leopard gecko. They're small, not too hard to maintain, like to be held, relatively cheap, amongst other things.

Any suggestions?

It's not eating at all, and can go on for even a month without food (yes I do offer it food, but it doesn't eat it). Also, one of the turtles has swollen eyes, and when it goes underwater it sometimes does open mouth breathing. They sleep a lot, and always close their eyes.

I know they're sick, but I don't have a reptile veterarinian in our area, and my mom's not willing to pay for a vet.
What should I do?

I have an albino leo and for some reason it stopped eating. It's tail is losing its girth and I am really worried. I have tried to give it waxworms directly and there are also crickets in the tank (1-2), however it does not seem interested in food items. Any help would be appreciated, it is only about 1 year old.

I keep leopard geckos and the mortality rate of crickets is a constant annoyance. Is there any way to keep crickets alive longer without using something that will harm the geckos when they eat them?

Just recently my snake has been funny with me. it's still only a baby and I've had it for a couple of months now. Whenever I go to take it out, it seems to avoid me and if I do manage to get it out then it kind of gets stuck to my hand and wriggles as if it cannot move. However, I just put that down to my hands being clammy and changed to letting it move on the back of my hands but it still seems to try and get away. the other day it also bit me when i tried to get it out. does anyone know what might be up with it and what i should do? thanks x

i'd like it to get relatively big, at least 18" full grown. (i want to purchase a baby though) also, i'd like it to be colorful and have a good temperment. ideas? the pet stores tend to try to sell you what they have so i'd like to know what i want then go to a real reptile store. i've owned reptiles in the past but no monitors...

I need to take my ball python to the vet tomorrow and I'm not sure how to properly get her there. It's VERY cold out and I need to keep her warm. I also need it to be easy to put her in and out. I've heard of putting them in pillow cases and a then a cardboard box, but I'm worried that'll make her temperment go down{very friendly now} or stress her out. Is there any place that sells battery operated heat pads...if they exist? Thanks to all!

I need a good place to carry around my pet snake. Some people are afraid of snakes, and I was thinking that if I keep the snake (her name is Lilly), in my pants, not only would that help me avoid scaring people at the market, but it would also keep Lilly warm.

Tell me your honest opinion. Thank You.
