Ooo, they can, they can't, what's the truth? Here goes. While a beardie is definitely capable of eating a pinkie (heck, maybe even a fuzzy or a full grown mouse) do you really WANT it to? Every bearded dragon that I've met that's been fed pinkies tends to mistake fingers for food. They don't have "real" teeth, but they definitely have razor blades on the inside of their mouth. So if you want to keep your beardie sweet, I wouldn't suggest feeding it pinkies or mice unless, as mentioned earlier, it's laid eggs and might need the added nutrients of mamilian food.

You should NOT feed mice to bearded dragons. Sure you're dragon is capable of eating it and will want it, but they are really bad for them! Pinkies shouldn't even be fed unless you have to (like after a female lays eggs). It's really a better idea to just completely stay away from pinkies. A small mouse is BAD! I would never dream of feeding even a really large dragon one! I would suggest going to http://www.repticzone.com in the bearded dragon forum and asking the same question to get some reasons for why you shouldn't feed them. I'm sure they'll agree with me. My username on repticzone is DracoLvr and I am constantly in those forums.

Yes it can, In fact it gets to some point that you need to feed them pinky mice as well as crickets usually when it's about 1 foot long you can feed it 1 pinky every week.

If you are talking about pinkies he could probably handle one of those at his size. Buy the frozen ones so you don't get stuck with a baby mouse if he doesn't eat it. You will probably need to wiggle it around in front of him with tweezers so he will think it is still living.

yes, you do want to start out with pinkies and work your way up to a full size mouse. i would put him in a box to feed him so he won't think your feeding him everytime you open the cage.

No. After the first year, you can still provide crickets but not as many as you had to as when they were juvinile. I feed mine assorted leafy greens and veggies (thawed peas are high in protein)
