The rule of thumb is about 10 gallons of swimming space per inch of shell length, so a 55 is fine.

you may wish a large tank 10 gallons of water in line with inch of shell. pink eared sliders improve quickly so as that would not advise to purchase a 20 gallon if its 2 inches. i began off with a 55 gallon and 5 months later at once necessary a one hundred twenty gallon. you want a basking platform it fairly is a thoroughly dry area under a warmth lamp. and a UV easy. you may get those at any puppy keep. For food buty turtle pellets. toddlers consume meats and adults tend to consume greens. so it is fairly useful to purchase smaller guppies if its a small turtle. whilst they get better you ought to purchase gold fish. additionally they like worms. playstation . any turtle smaller than 4 inches is illegitimate to sell commercially.
