In Canada there are none. They are considered perishable goods when you ship them via the air. What does that tell you?

There are laws on the international, national, state, county, and city levels. The laws do several things:

International endangered animals laws restrict the collecting or trade in listed animals.

Federal laws do the same, and some federal laws restrict certain things like undersized turtles.

Most state laws protect native species, and may restrict the importation of alien species, etc.

City laws generally restrict what kinds of pets people can have.
