Are you looking for UVB lights or heat spot lights? There is a difference. Also, what type of lizard.. That also makes a difference

One needs to know the kind of lizard(s) you have and the dimensions of the cage(s)/tank(s) you have them in.

Some reptiles require UVB lighting, and at different strengths depending on their natural environment.

Also, UVB is only effective if its about 1 foot away from your lizards. Also, if you're using the light as a source of heat, the effect of any particular wattage will be different if your cage is 12 inches high or if it's 24 inches.

First you need to determine the requirements for your lizard(s). Some good places to start are the websites listed below:

It really depends on what lizards you have. Leopardgeckos do not requier UV-B light, but most other species do..
