A turtle skin jacket would be awesome, I think it would be fairly light, flexible and waterproof! not to mention the cool colors and patterns!

What species of turtles are you thinking of that would have enough skin to make a difference?
Most of the skin of most turtles is pretty thin and uninteresting, and the rest is too small an area to bother with- I really don't see a market here.

No that's murder, and even if there were products on the market that are made out of turtle skin they aren't that big (most of them) so basically your killing 200 or more just to make yourself look better.

Turtles don't really have that much skin- so how many would have to be slaughtered for these articles to be made?Besides, there's not much of a market for the meat, so there's no other point to raising them...

No I would not, there are a lot of different species of turtles close to extinction. I would rather see them in their natural environment, than only in zoo's or books.

They actually have a place that sells stuff like that it's called a Shell station. They have them all over, they are awesome.
