I was asked to find some pictures of 2 goldfish being attacked by another fish. They don't have to be goldfish but its prefered. If anyone has any pictures like this or knows of a website where I might be able to find them I would greatly appreciate it. At this point any help would be great! Thanks

okay, first of all, i'm not a noivice,,,, i've kept fish for many years, and they're all healthy....... but i noticed the other day that my new(ish) goldfish has a bump on one side..... it's only about 1.5" long, and i'm not sure what the sex is, Could it be a female, and the bump be eggs underneath? The bump is located near it's anal fin, and is about the same size as it's muscles from the front half of it's body, and it almost just looks like the muscles are extended toward the back of it's body, but the other side looks just normal. I've never seen this before in any fish, and i've had many.... Can anyone help? maybe send a link to a picture of what they think it is so i can compare? I've tried to take a pic of him, but he's too fast. Water conditions are fine, and he's in a 5 gallon for now, by himself, and he will be moving in a week or two, once everyone else at home gets shuffled around. He seems very happy, no clenched fins, no scratching on anything, seems fine. ????

I have four Parrot blood fish. And I just recently got an algae eater because someone told me that the rustic brown spots are a form of algae? Is this true? And is there some way I can get rid of the spots or will I need to get another algae eater? Also I heard that most often apple snails are used? Will this work? I have so many questions, sorry. I have a 30 gallon tank with just the four cichlids b/c thay are aggressive, but really pretty. How do I know if they are sick? One of them looks like they have a scratch from running into a rock on its nose, and another a funny black spot that it had when we got him, then lost it and now its back? I keep the water levels perfectly in line. I just wonder if there is some sort of medicine for this black spot disease if that is even what it is? I am so confused and I love them and don't want them to die... HELP!!! it would be greatly appreciated.

I live right next to the beach in SW Washington and there are always some really interesting pieces of driftwood to be found. I read a couple of articles on the process and they contradicted each other. Any insights would be great.

We have a gourami and when we first put him in the tank he was very active, swimming back and forth ect, but the last couple days he has been kinda sitting in one spot for long lengths of time, kinda looking up you might say..just kinda vertical most of the time, ive noticed one particular fish seems to come along every once in a while and pick at his side , ive tried to get the other fish to stop, ive fed them an extra time to make sure they were well enough fed and not just picking on the gourami for food or whatever, but still he is doing this..any ideas anyone? If its poor water or what not, what could I do to improve it? I have an electric filtering system and I put aquariam salt in.

i was told to not take the fish out of the tank as this might stress them, and that the water i put back in should be the same temperature as the water i take out (which is 25 degrees C) was just wondering what is the best way to clean it out.

My CT betta has developed these red balls on the tips of his anal fin. I'm worried he may have an infection of some sort, as the redness is growing more and more. He's active and pretty good, though he hasn't quite adjusted to my food yet. I don't know anything about my water, though I use a conditioner when I change it, and I do water changes every three days. I don't think it's the water though, because my other three bettas live in the same water and are doing swimmingly. If someone could help, I would really appreciate it!

I have had 6 Oranda fish for a year now, 3 orange ones and 3 black ones. About a month ago one of the black ones started to turn orange, and now all the black ones are orange. I have no idea why this has happened, or if my orange fish might turn black! Any insights you may have will be greatly appreciated!!

I have a brand new 29 gal fish tank...3 days old. I have 5 med Koi in it. The water has been clear and clean the first 2 days, but now on the 3rd day it's getting cloudy and smelly...but not a fishy smell. It has a strange funk smell. The smell is wafting into the whole room. I have a good filter system, and a bubble wand. Any ideas?
