okay, first of all, i'm not a noivice,,,, i've kept fish for many years, and they're all healthy....... but i noticed the other day that my new(ish) goldfish has a bump on one side..... it's only about 1.5" long, and i'm not sure what the sex is, Could it be a female, and the bump be eggs underneath? The bump is located near it's anal fin, and is about the same size as it's muscles from the front half of it's body, and it almost just looks like the muscles are extended toward the back of it's body, but the other side looks just normal. I've never seen this before in any fish, and i've had many.... Can anyone help? maybe send a link to a picture of what they think it is so i can compare? I've tried to take a pic of him, but he's too fast. Water conditions are fine, and he's in a 5 gallon for now, by himself, and he will be moving in a week or two, once everyone else at home gets shuffled around. He seems very happy, no clenched fins, no scratching on anything, seems fine. ????
