You do not need to do anything with your dead fish, Once a fish has died you just get it out with a net and flush it down the toilet, I love my fish but this is the easiest way of disposing of them once they are dead, I suggest that you do a water change on your tank though, If your fish died of a disease it could either be the water quality that killed it or that it had an internal infection, Maybe put a carbon in your filter this will help clean toxins from your water. I hope your fish was dead before it was frozen, People do suggest this method to euthanize fish but it is really cruel, There is a way of naturally doing this with cloves, I would not want to be frozen to death...

When mine are too large to flush , I compost it. Put it right in the green bin , no funeral , no cremation service , no readings from the bible.
Flushing in municipal water won't contaminate anything , too much chlorine just think of all the steaming number 2's that go down there. Modern waste facilities take care of the disease.

You can always just burry the little thing in the garden. it does not have to be deep in the ground. It will decompose and it will be good for the soil. Regards the the guppy..
