What type of dog is this? Everyone seems to think Pit Bull, but I really don't think so.

i heard that a false pregnancy means the dog would be a good mother or that she is ready to? what are your views on this?

No offense to you owners, but you can spend $3000 for a schnoodle, which IS a mutt, or you can go down to the local shelter, buy the exact same breed, AND it would be helping a poor dog. same breed, helpless, in need of a home, and cheaper.

I was wondering about the differences in colors. I have been told that the yellow labs tend to be larger than their counterparts. Is this true or have you noticed any other differences?
I know each dog is an individual and will have its own personality, but in general do they tend to be submissive?
I've heard they have a long puppyhood. Does this mean they have puppy energy for longer and for how long?

She sleeps in his bedroom all night now and comes back to me with peanut butter breath.

I'm so sad! How can I convince her to stay with me instead?

i have a male chihuahua and my sister has a female. well the female went into heat and we wanted them to breed so we can have more puppies. we've kept them together for the past week. i know when they finally have sex they're supposed to get stuck together or something but we haven't found them stuck together, nor have we seen my dog try to mount her dog. we don't know if they already did it while we were gone at some point or if they just aren't going to make puppies... is there any way to tell?? this is my first time dealing with something like this... help.....

I have a new puppy and it used to eat this triangular kind of puppy food, royal something or other, but it wouldnt eat much. Right before we decided to change the food she got sick, and we took her to the vet, and the vet told us to giver her some rice and chicken , until she was all better. She got better very quick, and after that even ate some dry dog food. After she got better we decided to gradually change the dog food. So we put a lot of triangled ones and a couple of round ones which I think are (iams). She wouldnt eat neither. As a matter of fact she would pick them up place them on the floor and start playing, she really enjoyed playing with the round ones. So eventually I just picked it up and put it in my hand so she could eat it.

Now my dog will only eat from my hand and not the food bowl what should I do?

We are trying to potty train our little pomeranian puppy. She is 15 weeks old, almost 4 months; is this too early for her to understand the concept of potty training?? It just seems like she will pee a little in the house, or start to poo, and then we take her outside, and she doesn't go at all! Only on occasion has she gone outside. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What breed of dog do you have? And what do people mistake your dog for?

---

I have a Papillon.
I've been asked if she's a long-haired Chihuahua and a Pomeranian-mix. (Although I usually get "what breed of dog is that?)

My parents have an English Setter.
Someone asked them if their dog was a Dalmatian.

My previous question was about how worms spread to humans and now my puppy doesn't poop any more worms out. It was like she pooped them out fora day and now her stool is normal looking. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow to get her checked out. And another thing too from the previous question I posted is that she doesn't seem to have any fleas at all. I've looked through her fur and she hardly ever scratches. Anyways, any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Maggie just had her dewclaws removed. She wears a cone, but can just lick the ends of her bandages, and we're worried she'll manage to pull the bandages off.. her incision isn't healing very quickly so she has to leave them on for a couple days...

I have a 80 lb pitt bull who absolutely freaks when she see the nail clipper. At the vet she has to be sedated. Does anyone know if buying the Oster nail grinder would be a worthwhile investment? Are they very noisy? Do they work on big dogs? Any ideas/thoughts are appreciated!
