Everyone is being way rude about this question! It is not a purebred so it doesn't have a certain name but mixed breeds are just as good as purebreds and sometimes better! You can just mix the two names together and call it somehing like a yorkie mixed with a schnauzer you can call a Snorkie! It is completely stupid to think that the word "mutt" is what you should call your dog! Some ppl are SO rude! Don't listen to Alyssa she is rude to a ton of ppl!

I just bought the cutest yorkie/beagle mix - what is the correct name for this breed?

A Yorkie/ Beagle mix. Don't buy into those so-called 'designer breed' names.

A Yorkshire Terrier/Beagle mix. "Mutt" works well too. It's not a breed, it's a mix.

You have a cute mixed breed dog bought from a backyard breeder. It isn't a "breed" no matter how much you paid for it. But that doesn't mean it can't love you....

Yep, its a mutt. But when people ask what kind of dog I have, I tell them she is a Standard American.

Congratulations on your purchase, though I hope you got it from a shelter, not a "puppy mill".

"Mutts" typically don't have special names, but I have seen the term "Borkie" used in conjunction with your mix. However, feel free to call it "Yorbea" or "Beakie"!
Whatever rocks your boat!
Personally, I'd call it "Confused!". ;)
