Ya they are great dogs. Good with kids and family. They dont bark a lot but will when someone rings the door bell. You can let them off the leagh but have to train them when they are young to stay close. These dogs aim to please the owners.
The only bad thing about the dogs is you gotta brush them and take care of the fur. They shed a lot.

well-bred golden's with champion parents bred by people who know what they're doing and have done all the certifications and genetic tests necessary to produce the best dogs possible are easily sold- most good breeders have waiting lists. However, they only breed once a year per female or less so they aren't breeding specifically to make money- because there's no profit in breeding dogs correctly.
I don' t think the bark more than most dogs- they can be trained to bark less.
'campion' do you mean 'champion'? If you buy a well-bred show golden from a breeder for more than a thousand dollars and put many years and a lot of money into training it might be a champion.
Again- with no training no they will probably not, with good training probably.
More info- please do not breed unless you know a lot more about dogs and spelling then you appear to.

Golden Retrievers are notoriously great family dogs. As far as I know...
I haven't tried to sell them, but that's never been a concern
I'm not too sure of their barking, but that's a training issue
There are many Golden Retriever champions, and are fabulous companions
If you train them well to be off-leash, they will come back to you, but they're sporting dogs, so you'd do better if you weren't calling them back from a bird they wanted to retrieve for you.
They're gorgeous, wonderful dogs, and I'm sure Goldengal will love talking about them.

MOST Goldens I have seen are great companion dogs. They bark basically at the knock of a door or new people. In order for a dog to be off a leash and stay it has to be trained, they don't just come out like that.
If you are thinking about getting one..please check out shelters and www.petfinder.com
There are a lot of them out there needing homes. Please don't breed them just for something to do.

wow! (and for everyone else on this board, she is planning to breed, according to her previous question Quote: "Whast teh best dog to get?
hi i live in the country and we are going to be geting dogs to breed and sale well we have not decided which is the bes cause this is a big hunting town well here the dogs i ahve in mind akbash, beagle, akita, bearded colloi, border collieand a golden retriever which one would u choose "
Omg as far as answers this one, its a tough one,
well i guess i will start with
1) puppies poop and pee in the house until trained to do otherwise (in case you didn't know).
2) They can bite, chew on things, such as shoes, doors, dig through carpet, chew furniture, especially if they are not properly socialize and have anxiety issue which your dogs will most likely have
3) they need to be fed proper food, table scraps are not dog food
4) for them to do anything, such as sit, heel(walking on the leash next to you) they need to be trained
5) no one will buy your puppies, because if you have to put out an ad and will spell like you did here, no one will understand what you are talking about

I hope you do not plan on being a breeder. If you are looking for one as a pet they are great family dogs. All dogs are different and it depends on how well they are trained if they will be good off leash.

"r they easy to sale"
Why would you need to know that if you weren't planning on breeding and were a responsible breeder, you'd be less concerned with the sellability and more concerned with health issues and how to preserve the quality of the breed.
