i have an 8 week old malamute pup *our 2nd one*
that has just spent her second night in our home. when crated at night, she constantly howls.. ALL night. the crate is in our bedroom with us and filled with toys and a whelping blanket she's had since birth to cut down on the seperation anxiety. ive had dogs howl before but they've always given up after a while, maybe an hour. this one won't stop and i haven't slept since sunday. tonight will likely move crate to far end of house but i hate to do it.

I owned two dogs, a male and female (stray one). I was advise to sterilise them and the female one should be done after her menstruation over for 2 months, is this true? I still hesitating to let them operate because i find it very cruel to do it without their consent ofcourse they can't make this decision. Thats Y i find it must be good on them before i decide. Please let me know more of the advantages for both male and female dogs just for sterilisation. I only knew one or two answers which is to avoid to have more little ones and prevent contract any cancer diseases .

I have a 2 year old Shih-Zu female dog, and she has food allergies. I feed her organic By Nature dog food and was wondering if that is the best I can feed her. Money doesnt matter I just want her to be as healthy as she can be!

your gonna hear stories that food was in storage and forgot didnt no etc. dont be that one go throw out the bad food before an accident. do your home work unless you dont mind the death of your pet . please dont miss understand me . you may need a little shaken up as we live in a world where, where always on the move good luck dont be the one or two that makes that mistake . thank you . animal lover.

I have had this boy Maltese now sinse he was 6 weeks old. He is very bad temoerament, very mean and doesn't listen to me, is not trained nor house breken. He is agresive to my 5 year old Crested Chinese and doesn't like to be with her.

He needs too much grooming, is too hyper, has a skin problem - requiring constant medicaton that costs $60 per 2 weeks. He also has very bad teeth and always gets a luxating patella. He takes up too much of my time and I can't handle him. He is very embarrassing when I take him outside because he poops everywhere, lashes out at other people and other dogs and he always tries to bite the vet and his groomer so they need to muzzle him which causes me majore emassment.

I ahve been thinking about putting him down. I dont want to give him to a shelter or rescue unless they give me back the $1300 I paid for him at the pet store. I have only recntly noticed that I don't love him. I feed him Purina while I feed Mia Innova. I don't even cuddle or kiss him.

is this a sign of some kind of sickness for dogs? my dog is a japanese spitz... i heard that it could be an allergy and they told me to clean her eyes.. how do i clean her eyes? ill bring her to the vet tomorrow but please give me sone home remedies.. thanx a lot!

i have a male german shepherd 2 years old..recently got a trainer for him and he advised me to feed him just 1 cup of dog food everyday since my dog's overweight..while currently his diet includes 3cups of dog food with chicken and biscuits and cakes for snacks..i know i should cut down on the snacks but i feel just 1 cup of dog food might not be enough for him.wat do u say?

Can a 3month old puppy get pregnant? She's eating more and getting fatter. I don't know if she did the deed. I went home over Spring Break and she loved being outsied with the older dogs and I didn't keep an eye on her while she was outside. Maybe I'm being a little paranoid but you never know. She wont be spayed until May that's a long time.

I have a 8 lb Papillon who I have always put Frontline Plus on every month! It has always worked great! This last time i did it I thought I must have done it wrong and reapplied it! It seems like he has a non stop itch! What else could it be? Please help it's driving us both nuts! Thanks in advance!

I bought my puppy for $40 bucks. I had been looking for a shih tzu and I work at a pet store but they charge about $1100 a puppy. Some random guy came in with my beloved lil puppy claiming full bred shih tzu. I could tell he wasnt full but for 40 bucks he was close nuff.. and pretty dang cute. Just wondering if anyone can identify the part mixed in. He has shih tzu hair and an underbite. In that pic he was about 10 months old and wieghed 6 and a half pounds. He is now 13 months old and weighs 7.25 pounds. Doesnt really matter what he is.. I have just been wondering.
