This condition could be mites in the folicle and can be taken
care of with some anti lice shampoo. 2md possibility maybe
your dog needs de-worming, round worm and tape worm.
Try Bob Martins.

Take him to the vet and ask to have a skin scraping analysis done. The vet will be able to determine what's going with your dog's skin and how to appropriately treat it with medication and shampoo.
I advise against trying to medicate it yourself. This may cause more problems then you hope for.

It sounds like he has mites. I adopted a guinea pig that had the same thing. I tried everything and then went to walgreens. I bought some shampoo that gets rid of lice (it comes with a little comb) and after one treatment they never came back.

Have your dogs tyroid checked. Our beagle was doing the same thing and come to find out it was a skin infection that was caused by a tyroid problem.

They are pimples like we get. She needs to see a vet because she must have an allergy otherwise she'll begin to itch and scratch her skin off. He'll give you some creams.
