The dog has never had a bath? No biggie - Use warm water, have lots of towels on hand, be patient and expect to get wet.

If the dog has never had a bath it would be better to have him washed with a professional groomer a few times.
He may actually need a little bit of extra TLC if the condition of his coat is bad.

A little TLC maybe in order but you can bath him just like any other dog. Prepare to be soaked. He will probably love you for it! Good luck.

Never had a bath in 9 years>? what the? must be dirty... Take it to a professional groomer..trust me, it's worth the trouble
