I bought my puppy for $40 bucks. I had been looking for a shih tzu and I work at a pet store but they charge about $1100 a puppy. Some random guy came in with my beloved lil puppy claiming full bred shih tzu. I could tell he wasnt full but for 40 bucks he was close nuff.. and pretty dang cute. Just wondering if anyone can identify the part mixed in. He has shih tzu hair and an underbite. In that pic he was about 10 months old and wieghed 6 and a half pounds. He is now 13 months old and weighs 7.25 pounds. Doesnt really matter what he is.. I have just been wondering.

Dang it I thought that pic would be bigger. Hard to tell from the pic at that size.

first time user. and I see even in that pic you cant see that his snout is quite a bit longer than a typical shih tzu. Like I said I love the lil guy so does not matter. but have always been curiuos. And as far as asking the vet.. He said shih tzu mix lol.

He's really cute, so when people ask, just say he's a rare breed called: CUTE-SEE!! (Smile)

PS. If he's healthy and seems to be happy, who cares what breed he is. I do hope you find out though. Good Luck!

You are right, it is awfully hard to tell if that is a dog or a pile of laundry.

Can you post a bigger picture?

(I am so glad you got this little guy rather than a puppy mill dog)

You're right it's a pretty small image. Something, maybe my paranormal powers (not really, it's totally a stab in the dark), tells me the pup is part Cavalier.

When you take him in for shots, you can ask the vet what he/she thinks the breeds are.
