The tumor is on his back leg. It cannot be removed because it is in his muscle. It keeps getting bigger and he cannot walk on it anymore. He weighs about 160 and is 7 year old. We do not want to amputate. Any ideas on pain meds or how to reduce the size?

A very fabulous vet on Yahoo!Answers by the name of "northern girl" suggested giving my Gia some gatorade or pediolyte, but I'm not sure of how much to give her. She's a 7 pound yorkie/shih tzu cross.

What can I do to stop her? it's disgusting, not to mention, I don't want her to get sick. I have no clue who or where she came from, but is this normal behavior? I've only had cats.

I am really keen to get a Boxer I know that they are very energetic pets and need a lot of care and attention. However, a few people have told me that they are prone to madness and are quite hard animals to care for. is this true??

ANY EXPERIENCED ADVICE 4 MY PUPPY "Bella Noches"?

I want to train my puppy to guard the house, and protect me.

I want my puppy to STOP pottying inside. I have taken her out religiously, but she refuses to gooutside. Then when I bring her in she SQUATS to wee wee, or HOVERS to pooh within a few minute.

She is HUGE! She weighs about 30 lb.s already, so it is difficult to train her some things.

She sits, is learning to stay, get down off something or someone, and to come on command. Other than this I find a road block to her learning. She is part Lab and mostly Boxer. She looks nothing like a Lab, mostly like a Boxer. However I KNOW what her breeds are because I owned the sire & dam, but everyone is VERY AFRAID of her because they think she is a Pit Bull!

could she have asthma? She shakes and gets all anxiety like when it happens. Today it happened more than usual, about every hour or more. Does anyone know what else it could be? I live in Phoenix, could it be the dust?

I have a Yellow Labrador Retriever who will turn two next month. I absolutely adore him because of the unconditional and constant love he gives. He is totally loyal and devoted and always a constant loyal companion. He also can make me laugh when nothing else can.

I have a four year old yorkie/shih tzu mix. She just went to the vet two weeks ago for her check up and shots. She had her heartguard, and her stool tested. The exam was fine. In the last two days she's been throwing up clear yellow mucus, and now has diarrhea. Last night there was a bit of a jelly like blood drop in the stool. There's been no more blood since last night. She is eating and drinking. I have taken her food away from her and cleaned her water bowl. I am going to put her on a bland diet of beef and rice. It's Sunday so the vet is not in. I was planning on taking her to the vet if this continues through the next day. In the mean time, does anyone have an idea of what this may be? I don't think it's a parasite since she just had her stool checked out. It may be possible she ate a few pebbles of rock salt.

I have a Yor-Chi (Yorkie/Chihuahua) whom has become increasingly aggressive towards me, a little towards my parents, I couldn't even go to the kitchen today cause he would go into an attack mode. I watch Caesar Milan with my parents all the time, but the training did not help. Neither did taking him to a professional trainer. Should I take him to the shelter? He's been this way for about 2-3 years and he's just getting worst. I'm not afraid of Rottweilers or Pit Bulls but I'm terrified of him. He's even gone into attack mode while we were in bed. Any advice?

I was thinking of getting a dog (small breed) and it would be cool if he/she could be taught to use a litter box. Is it possible?

o.k. granted we've had the puppy 1 week. The harness is a pain in the butt! To get this squirmy guy into it quickly enough to make it outside to train him is too much! I've started to just grab him and go out. The good news is training is going fine. Bad news he hasn't been taught 'come" yet and wanders further and further. Now he won't do his business while in the harness and doesn't move when on his leash. looking ahead to obedience training I can't ever put a collar and leash on him. (collapsing trachea common in the breed)What is the equivalent to a leash correction?
