You are dealing with two VERY different breeds, both of which have their pros and cons. I breed bulldogs and can assure you they dont all skate. and most are not built for being outside and excersizing althought they need to be kept at a good weight. Huskies are not loner dogs and need to feel like they are part of a pack and demand attention and alot of exersizing. the upkept is greater on a husky do to the thick coats and but you might have more vet bills with a bulldog. Most huskys that I know of ( I have gotten 2 for my inlaws ) are not a pricey as Bulldogs ..So its a pros and cons thing...

You really need to do more research then just how does the dog look. English bulldog will set you back in the $1000s. And you will spend $1000s a year in vet bills keeping one alive and healthy. ( for a bulldog) On the other hand huskies are not the best house dogs. they shed twice a year in bucket loads. they bark for no good reason, howl, climb fences, dig to china, pull on a leash and are hard to manage. The bulldog has breathing problem, bone and joint issues, can't breed naturally and need Cesarean birth to be born. Tons of allergies and they can be hard to train if they don't want to. go get a lab or a golden.

If you want an inside pet, bull dog. Huskies need exercise and lots of it- other wise they can become extremely destructive. They also are runners.. so heaven forbid they ever get out of the yard or off their leash!!!
The quick search I just did showed Bull dogs as being pretty darn expensive!!!
i attached the site to search for breeders.

.Any dog can skate you have to train them first of all! You have to have the energy to walk a husky almost everyday because they need to be outside also very hyper. Bull dogs are mean dogs to though! If it was my decision I would get a Husky

Not all Bulldogs can skate - our two never could.
Bulldogs, in my opinion, would make the better house dog. But they are not necessarily easier to care for - they have health issues in spade. With their eyes, their phlegm (which can swell up, choking them). A well bred Bulldog will proably not be cheaper either - in initial or aftercost.
Research them, dig up some reputable breeders and come up with some questions to ask them. Don't buy them on a whim - and certianly don't buy a Bulldog because ONE can skate. Take your time - you'll be living with your choice for a long time to come.

Huskys are also very loving and probably better inside pets. They tend to be very curious and can be escape artists even in a fenced in yard. If you choose a husky you should keep it inside too and make sure you are outside with it when its in the yard playing.

A bulldog. I feel that Huskies are ineffective watchdogs while bulldogs are good watchdogs that come in a compact size. Try getting a Husky to balance on a skateboard!

Both are excellent breeds. From past experience, the huskie requires alot of excercise and can become destructive ( chewing and digging for example) if not getting sufficient excercise.
Good luck

Do your research just don't get a pet because it can scate or what ever - booth breeds are VERY differemy -
huskkys need EXSESSIVE exercise try at least 8 miles a day for walks/ runs, bulldogs are more prone to health / respitory issues & cost alot of money -
Do research on what ever breed you may get it pays off for you and the dog. or go to the pound theres tonnes of great dogs there!!

Remember that bulldogs (as with other short-nosed breeds, like pugs and Pekingese) are at a much higher risk of heat stroke and heart attacks. Their short muzzles don't allow them to cool down as efficiently as breeds with regular-length muzzles, like, say, a husky. If you live in a hot area, you'll have to be super-careful to keep your dog cool and not over-exert it. If it starts wheezing or its nose gets dry or its lips and tongue turn red, you'll have to cool it down as fast as is healthy with towels soaked in cool water or a cool bath. Sometimes, they just drop dead--they don't handle stress as well as many other dogs.
Bulldogs are loveable and adorable, but unless you can keep them from getting excited and too hot (hard to do!) you may be in for a heartbreak.
Huskies are much more adaptable--my host family in Mexico had a husky, and she was pregnant in the summertime, and it was hot as a mofo down there! Their coats grow in thinner in hot climates, and thicker in cold ones. But they need plenty of exercise and it's unfair to keep them cooped up and bored.
Easy? Depends on your situation, the dog's housing, your location, the dog's activity level and exercise opportunities--there are a lot of things to consider. I've known people who were happy with both. And unhappy with both.
Neither is hard to love, but they can be hard to take care of! You may want something less challenging (but I have a Dalmatian, and she's a big crazy goofball and I wouldn't have it any other way.)
Oh, and I totally agree about shelter pets--I got my sweet, gorgeous girl at a shelter and she looked like hell and was sick, but she's a great pet and as purebred as they come.
Love a shelter dog!
