I've been researching dog clippers...was wondering if anyone else has used this brand and if they're happy with them. I'd be using them on a cocker spaniel. I don't want to pay out a reasonable sum of money only to find out they're useless and keep them in the cupboard. Any info would be appreciated.

After a failed Advantix treatment *within two weeks* is it OK to bathe *to remove the advantix* and then treat with Advantage once the puppy is dry?

I think that's what the vet said, but I had a killer headache at the time so I'm not entirely possitive.

Help is much appreciated.

What are the legal aspects of this in regards to dog containment. My neighbor has no fenced yard and on occasions he has let his dog crap on my yard and im sick of it. The dog also pisses in my bushes. Ive tried to talk to him about it but he told me ive got problems, if thats all im worried about. I've also seen his dog(Irish Setter) without a leash running around the yard, and wandering in my yard. Can the police do anything or is it a waste of my time to notify them? What legally can I do? Thank you

When a dog is spayed it calms them down, is this true also of female dogs? As soon as our girl Boxer has had her first season we plan on getting her spayed but don't want her to lose any of her bonkers character. Will it calm her down or will she be the same?

My hound is an oc self groomer, he is kept inside, eats SolidGold, takes vit e and fish oil, no dry skin, no fleas, bathed every 8 weeks and my vet and I are stumped as to why and what to do. He gets e-collared when I am not home, told no when I am, and unfortunatly the enzimes from his saliva are turnning his coat red which I know to be very hard to get rid of. Any realistic ideas are welcome

I owned one for about 10 years, and I must say the large shetland sheepdog i had was a genius. It prevented a few buglares in that span, and the companionship of this dog was unreal.

Just look at my profile picture and guess the name of my dog. She is half Irish Setter, and half Yellow Lab. She is such a dear, and I think the name fits her 100%.

He has never liked people outside the family, but has only barked at them--then, three months ago he bit one person, drawing blood, and the last three nights he has growled and snapped, trying to bite me when I put him down for bed. I am very concerned, as he has never done anything like this, and has always been treated very well. Will we be able to work through this with him, or will we need to find another home for him? We do not have children in the home, but I no longer trust him. We have always had such a loving relationship with him. What do we do?

Seems really abusive to me. You would never do anything like that to a cat or a human child so why is it considered normal and acceptable where dogs are concerned?
