Certainly! they are both great breeds..I knew one named Frank. Frank was a wonderful farm dog, and his family really loved him.

any animal can be trained. well except for my husband. :)
find a trainer. both are intelligent breeds that can be very strong willed. don't go to a petsmart, find a training class that suits both you and your dog's needs. be consistant and patient while the dog is learning. and practice what you a have learned at home. a trainer will only show you what you need to know to be able to train your pet to respect you and also bond closer with you. good luck.
