Well even though you are in the wrong category, the best thing to do is think positive, I know that you probably have tried everything that anyone could tell you, I am a natural nervous person all the time too, I even saw a therapist for this stuff and they diagnosed me with General and Social Anxiety, well it was great that they tagged me with a label, but they did nothing to cure it, just made me feel depressed, so I just went out and started attacking it myself, I went into highly populated places, and pretended as if I was the only one there, it works at times, but when I least expect it, I get all shook up anyway. Constantly tapping on things, and when I have appointments for things, literally anything, my stomach gets all screwed up, and it even causes me to suffer from Gastreointestinal discomfort, don't think that's how you spelll it, but you get the idea, I feel for you, good luck.

I know how you feel. I have this problem as well. You have to challenge your thoughts. Once you start ruminating over something you need to ask yourself questions like does this promote my well being? What triggered this feeling? Does this always hold true for me? Challenging your negative thoughts will lead to less stressing and less of a chance of being nervous in public. I'm no expert on these things, but I did have an expert give me this advice. Hope this helps.

do you think you are a dog? it sounds like you just have a high metabolism and are doing things to burn off all the energy you can while you are sitting still. i suggest finding activities that burn off calories like jogging or bike riding after dinner.

learn to tell yourself to relax too -- when you sit down consiously relax your arms and shoulders and back.

try drinking relaxing teas too -- no sugars -- just tea. linden, chamomille and peppermint are all relaxing.

Try cuddling with your dog! If you don't have a dog, use a Friends dog. 15 minutes of cuddling should fix you right up! Don't forget, if you get drool on you it just means the dog likes you, a lot of drool means it likes you A LOT!
