I'm still having difficulty. After many months, my dog is hosebroken when it comes to solid feces, however I continue to find any piece of cloth/carpet perpetually smelling of urine. how do I stop her from peeing in the house.
What are your thoughts on a absorbant pad... allowing her to pee on the 'puppy pad' and eventually moving this outside...

also how do i get rid of the smell in fabrics?

I'm asking this because my neighbor has four of them. I must admit, these dogs are a little to weird for my taste. No offense to greyhound dog lovers...

Sometimes I'll be sitting outside in the back yard and glance over and one of those greyhounds is walking around on it's front 2 paws with it's back legs lifted completely off the ground! I didn't even know a dog could do that. Also, I've seen the male dog lift its leg on the females head and I've seen one of them drinking the urine as it was coming out of the other dog. Plus, one of them is always climbing the fence, like I imagine a cat would. It comes over and starts trying to dominate my dogs. I have 3 dogs, one is 90 lbs, one is about 80 lbs and the other one is 50 lbs. These greyhounds can't weigh more than 10 lbs, soaking wet.

Are they always this weird or are my neighbors just an exception?

I have experience breeding rodents and they normally have their pups during the evening or early morning. I just wondered if dogs do the same, as my neighbour's dog is expecting pups soon.

I realize Italian Greyhounds have high metabolisms but I actually don't exercise him that much, but he's still always hungry. Whenever he sees people food he goes berserk, but it's not like I can give him some and he'll be fine, he'll want more... he's never satisfied.

My puppy is part schnauner and part terrier, She is five to six months old and she chews wires while they are plugged in. The tv cable, extension cord in several places, my printer cord, I don't actually see her doing this. During the day is in confined to one room, at night, she sleeps with my daughter, I hear her chewing during the night sometimes. Please help as to why and how to stop her from tearing everything in the house up or even gettting hurt doing it.

I have a huskey who is 12 and she's always been mean. She attacks my other dog, and the cats, and there's no way to stop her. I know I just can't get rid of her, because I fear another owner will abuse her because she is so aggressive. But she hurt my cat very bad. So now I'm lost w/ what to do. Training and seperation from the rest of the pets doesn't work. I'm not sure what to do

Why is it that when you point a direction to a dog, they look in that direction. But if you were to point with a cat they just stare at you like you're crazy?

Is it normal for the vet to detect poop that looks like puppies?? He said it looked like poop because the images seemed linked together, and that he couldn't tell. It was only 20days since mating. I am going back to get another in a week or two but has anyone encountered this problem?

brushed his teeth. I looked in his mouth tonight and seen he has, what looks like to me, a couple of cavity's and one of them was even loose. Does anyone have any idea what a vet should charge for tooth removal? Has anyone else ever had a dog that they had to have their teeth pulled? How did they act after?
