My puppy is part schnauner and part terrier, She is five to six months old and she chews wires while they are plugged in. The tv cable, extension cord in several places, my printer cord, I don't actually see her doing this. During the day is in confined to one room, at night, she sleeps with my daughter, I hear her chewing during the night sometimes. Please help as to why and how to stop her from tearing everything in the house up or even gettting hurt doing it.

Plain & simple...puppies chew and it seems something in the wire coatings entice them.

My advice would be to purchase a kennel (or crate as some ppl call them). Just like you protect an infant by putting it into a crib or playpen...the kennel protects your puppy when you're not able to give her your full attention (such as when you're sleeping) It allows you to control what she has access to chew when you're not there to guide her away from danger. Smaller kennels are fairly easy to move, so you can move it into your daughters room at night. As the puppy matures and the chewing phase passes, you may be able to phase out the kennel, although I have found that even my mature dogs prefer to sleep in theirs, even though I no longer close the door to it unless I'm leaving the house.

Your dog is probably teething and needs to chew. It is time to invest in a lot of rawhide bones and chew toys. I would also recommend restricting her to her crate at night. If she is not in a crate now, I would get her crate trained. It helps a lot in other ways later on. You can also get "sour apple" or something similar at the pet store and can spray the cords. That way she will find them nasty to taste. The best way is to catch her in the act, take away the cord, and give it something it SHOULD chew on. I would keep it constantly supervised until your dog knows what it can and cannot chew on.

She's doing what all puppies do. She's exploring and teething. Buy some "Bitter Apple Spray", you can probably find it at your local pet store. Just spray some on the cord or whatever else she may be chewing on, and the bitterness of the spray, will stop her from chewing on it. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
