my puppie was in breed thanksgiving day. ever sence she has been really lazy, sleeping alot, eating like a pig but not her ussaul food, vomiting alot, her nippels have gotton bigger, she shakes alot and shes dosent let anyone around her stomac. is she pregnant? and how do you know?

There is a strong overbearing dog dropping, urination smell from the home next door, I have asked the neighbors to do something about it and they laugh. They assume pets have to smell? And how would someone clean that smell? (Yard)

and I would really love to have a small dog to keep me company.( I would get a cat, but I am super-allergic) when I am home. I am out of the house from 6 in the morning to 6 at night, Monday, Wed, and Fri, and Tues/Thurs, I am out from 6 to 4, and home all weekend. So, I have a few questions, really?

1) Is it really worth it to get a dog? Are my hours too long and will it be unfair to the dog (potty, time spent, small living space, etc)?

2) Secondly, I need a dog which is relatively mellow and low-maintenance. I like pugs, boston terriers, and french bulldogs (I know nothing about these breeds though) Are there suggestions you could give me?

3) Training the dog. Should I do it myself, or pay for obedience school?

Any info or suggestions would be WONDERFUL. Thanks guys!

My pup is approximatly 11 wks old. I ,ve tried using bitter spray. He likes It! I tried giving him a little bop, I 've used strong firm voices, I tell em NO and move him away,Ignored him, Ive even put him in time out. And he has PLENTY of toys of all varieties. I Dont know what to do if he doesn't stop I can't keep him. I cant put my baby in harms way! Please HElp??!!??

I've come across numerous answers to this question, but none of which suit my particular situation.
I have a small Maltese, and she has just turned 1. She recently has/has had her first heat. Many dogs have been hanging around and i am unsure of whether or not they have "done the deed" with my dog.
My dog recently has gained a little weight around her waist, has enlarged nipples , has thrown up about 3 times and uncharacteristically just peed on the floor.

I took my dog to petsmart to get her legs shaved so it doesn't go so dirty when I take her out for a walk. But the lady cut off her entire body's hair too and so now her once long hair is now short. It's not the lady's fault. I was in a hurry andshe told me if she only cut the legs, my dog would look ugly, like a mushroom she said, so I told her to do anything she can to make it look good but less maintences so I don't have to keep washing her when I take her back from her walks cause my dog goes for 2 walks a day and gets quite dirty. Nowmy dog seems like she's cold, so I bought her a couple shirts. She's wearing two right now. But I'm still scared she's cold. Are there any symptoms? Any suggestions to help my poor puppy? I've also bougt her shoes so when she goes out, her feet won't get cold. But i'm still worried. I live in SO Cal, it doesn't get THAT cold, but it has been 30 degrees lately!

Do they shed, do they bark alot, do they make good lap dogs, would they get along with a corgi? Pro's, cons of owning a papillon. I also heard they are extremely hard to house train. Would it be okay to adopt one at 1-2 yrs old or would it be better to get a puppy? Sorry for all the questions, but I want to make sure I am making the right decision. We removed some of them but it is hurting her to the point she backs away from us. My roommate pulled one but busted the body off and head is still in. What should I do to remove the ticks without hurting her or hurting the babies and how should I get the head out? What is best to use to get ticks removed without contaminating the teets so they babies can feed?
