We just got a schnauzer puppy and we can't think of a name. So we are looking for help. The puppy is a male and white. Any suggestions?

Snippysnow or you can go to a dog name website (search one up) and then look under german dog names since your puppy is a schnauzer.

We had a miniature schnauzer when I was a kid, forty years age. His name was Dusty Dan, and we called him Dusty. My brothers and I wanted to name him Dust Bunny and call him Dusty, but our parents thought that Bunny was a girl's name.

Name it Lincon or Truman I've always thought those were two really cute names for dogs.

My cat's name is Einstein and my older cat (that we don't have anymore) her name was Socrates. My dog is named Winnie, because I really liked that name for the dog.

But if I had one now, I'd want to name it Lincon.

no snowball or toto- that is generic and boring. sorry it is.
i am a louisiannian so i named my dog Jolie Bayou
Jolie for the george rodwigue painting jolie blonde
and bayou well for the bayous.

regional names are cool if they are not obvious or borning.
like Tx would be boring for a texan dog. but Alamo would be unique.

If you JUST got the dog, give it a few days to see what his personality is like; is he shy, is he active, etc. Then name him something appropriately. If he's really into chewing up shoes you could name him Ripper, or something like that. If he's a digger, you could name him Dozer, etc, etc. See where I'm going with this?
